@@RichardMontgomeryYT Did you choose Royal Wedding? If you don't do a Royal Wedding the option won't be available. Also, is Edward VIII still alive? It seems that if he dies before everything else is complete, it will keep this option from being available.

@@Bentz50 Edward is definetly alive and well, way back when the edward abdication crisis happened i picked the middle option, was that incorrect? Just went back and watched the video again, royal marriage is needed, Annoying.

@@schokomensch5436 He is preset to die in the Third Trial. I think he could be a full in on an earlier trial if a preset is missing. Paradox has notes on these events in their wiki, but there is so much information in the wiki it is hard to find what you want. I was able to find this thread that gives the information... @@Bentz50 hey thanks for answering that fast on a older video😄. I just took my time and did everything like u did it in the video and it worked it seems that you shouldnt do the 5 NKVD divisions somehow it sets off

@@schokomensch5436 I only do videos on things that gave me issues while getting the achievements, so I try to keep the videos current and respond to questions. I also try to mark videos as irrelevant as things get patched like Order 66. At this point it is a matter of remembering how the countries played as I would focus on one country at a time and this was one of the first. I am also hoping they make notification spam an option. When they removed that, it made strategies that require precise declaration of war a lot harder.

Most people worried about Trotsky are trying to get The New Home of the Revolution achievement, so keeping him alive is top priority. The achievement is difficult and a rather long time investment for each try. With that said, you only need counter intelligence as long as Stalin is in power. You could play non-historical where it is very likely that Stalin will be removed.

When you start the game, you have a mutually exclusive choice between Complete the April Constitution, Organize the Peasant's Strike, Assemble the Regency Council, and A Nationalist Constitution. After you choose one of these, the game hides the other 3 branches to clean up the Focus Tree.

It doesn't fire, it just allows you to take that focus... If you haven't already completed one of the focuses that locks you out of being able to take The King's Party. If you are looking for the William Wallis achievement, you should watch the video on that since it has to be a royal wedding and there are a couple more key steps.

@@Bentz50 i meant the event, first time i tried to do Kings Party the marriage event didnt fire at all so i couldnt do Kings Party.

Yes. It is baked into the focus tree introduced in No Step Back. It should work until they decide to redo the Soviet focus tree... unless a patch introduces a bug.

What keeps me coming back is I keep learning new things. I have played about 1000 hours and always find new ways to optimize, new commands, or new shortcuts. I think the only players that really have a handle on all the systems are those that have been playing since 2016.
