Corunna HC Steve Herrick Joins 3PP After Historic '23 Season
Belleville to ford field 💯.
Hard not to see that happening!
Belleville had a little Caesars restaurant in 80 and 90s that was decked out in redwing stuff games was watched there beer was served closed down 99 2000 miss that place 💯
That sounds incredible and similar to the one in Corunna. LC's needs to go back to restaurants like this!
He shoulda went to the NBA right out of Highschool period
sure makes ya wonder...
Some Great jerky with my dawgs
yessir!
is it Cake! lol, great mindless fun. I binged on it myself after a random find. Cool stuff guys, happy to have stumbled on you also. :)
Appreciate the feedback and glad ya came across our stuff. Check out previous pods and hit us up, give us a follow on all the socials too @3pointpod! And yep, Is It Cake is a ton of fun!
This is not even a debate if you rationally think it through. The idea is whatever the moment, there's no limitation to your being there, correct? If that's the case how is there any other moment, event, and place than being the first foot on the Moon or at minimum being behind the window observing the moon dust poof as you landed. To be the first human to touch another interplanetary body is the GOAT of Bucket Lists until someone does it on a planet.
Another one on this planet would be for me, something totally obscure. Being a assistant to Howard Florey when he came into the lab and discovered the first successful penicillin tests after having been lost to science for 20 years, found randomly again, and then through some luck you'd discovered how to save millions of lives and the 1st conceived antibiotic that would change the course of medicine and longevity for billions with previously shortened lives do to common infections. The mountain top you'd feel you were on after that would have been as high as Everest.
@@SickArgument-td2nc for sure that's where things would change, what's the specifics of "being there". Fun convo!
Great show guys 👍
thanks, tell your friends!
GO BLUE!!! 〽️
yesssirrrr!!
What's funny is Bama lost the #1 and #3 players to NFL draft, lost left tackle, lost offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator.... And people use the beginning of season stats to say who Bama is. It took a while to gel, but makes no mistakes about who this team is. Bama has the highest ceiling of any team in the nation and likely has three guys on defense go in the first round this year. Likely four first rounders total. On Michigan, those guys know what they're doing and have a high floor. But the more time Bama has to learn, the more dangerous they are.
To beat Bama, you need excellent QB play and NFL talent. Being steady doesn't usually beat Bama.
Yea we aint been focused on anything but Alabama football, they are our pro team. Cant wait to get our hands on them Michigan frauds. Good luck RTR LANK. This is our season of destiny and when we beat texas in the natty the revenge tour will be completed with all losses from the natty two years ago until now avenged!!! Back to our rightful spot at the top of college football again. Bring it home where it belongs. LANK!!!! Beat the cheats!!
And it was a perfect football weekend. Lions win, Cowgirls lose, Niners lose... Only 1 team with a better record than the Lions.
There is a 4th scenario yall missed... Maybe Georgia and Alabama were a bit overrated this year? The games don't lie and I didn't see but 1 Georgia game where they looked really good and same but less for Bama. We played the top rated defenses this year and practice with the best everyday. #GoBlue〽️ Michigan 41 Bama 16 Michigan won't finish the season in Pasadena cause they're going to the Natty! This year is different, they're being doubted still and their #1. But it's Saban who's nervous and hired Ex UofM staff
Definitely don't think these are the Georgia/Bama teams we've seen in previous years.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Saban.?. Nervous?. About Michigan?. You need to get off the sauce. Michigan struggles to score 41 against most everyone. Let alone the Bama defense. Bama will have too much speed and talent for Michigan. Bama by 10 plus.
Saban nervous, don't drink and text
GO BLUE!!! 〽️🌹

haha yeaaahhhh!!
A lot of schools do stay open? Ok so then why is the neutral site an hour and a half for Corunna and only 30 minutes for Flat Rock? It's basically a home game for Flat Rock.
Not sure what was the deciding factor there but it'll still be a nice drive for Cavs fans!
Saline vs Belleville is a national ranked game max preps ranked it the 10th game of the week
yep that's a huge one too, heckuva matchup
D 5 noterdame prep team looks like a d3 school they could win it all.
Definitely a great team and program!
KT just didn’t fit that system. KT is to me one of the greatest
a GOAT for sure!

@3pointpodcast136 maybe it's just my headphones but I could barely hear the apple podcast but the RUclips one is loud in clear I do work in a loud factory lol.
It was Hartford not heartland
Yeah we caught that after recording, thanks!
Great chat 🏈
Ty guys for putting something out been waiting for some content ty.
yessir!
Your still not talking Belleville best team in the midwest. Stats numbers don't lie .no one has looked like them in high school football. With the players going to img one from cass tech one from Orchard Lake Saint Mary's. Belleville has one of olsm wrs transfer in .division 1 us Bellevilles to lose.
The catholic league is gonna be tough it's gonna be DeLaSalle or Toledo Catholic Central .
Catholic League always tough!
I know everything metro detroit area I gotta start my stuff. I know one thing Belleville winning 3 in a row I've been saying it for 5 years now best team in the state. Ranked 25 in the country bye max preps.
Yes !!
Ballers talk trash and some more than others. You all agree to that, but the level and preponderance of vitriol aimed at Angel mostly from white men is what makes it racial. Why are all these white guys so pissed? It's called representation. Caitlin looks like them or someone they know. Angel looks like like someone they don't know very well and probably don't have a high opinion of. So when a white person is, in their opinion, disrespected by a POC, their outrage can not be contained.
No disagreement with anything you said. That's obviously a big part of the issue with this topic and a lot of things still going on in this country (sadly). As the 3 of us said, no issue with the trash talk, wish it didn't go to the "race component" because it took away from a great game and possibly great rivalry in the sport. Thanks for the comment!
When people talk about Kelvin Torbert, this year's Mr. Basketball, the word "special" is used a lot -- and not just because of what he does on the court. There was talk that Torbert might jump from high school to the NBA draft, but he said he has no plans to do so. He will major in business management and hopes to become the first member of his immediate family to earn a college degree.Kelvin Torbert of Northwestern. Torbert is the consensus No. 1-rated player in Michigan and some experts have even dubbed him the best high school player in the nation. This year, Torbert also made the McDonald's All-American team and was named the Sporting News Player of the Year. Nation's best: In the fall, Kelvin Torbert will be off to Michigan State for his first season with the Spartans. He'll arrive with high marks. Torbert, a 6-4 guard from Northwestern High in Flint, Mich., is on The Sporting News' inaugural High School All-American basketball team and is TSN's Senior Player of the Year. Torbert scored a school record 50 points in one game this season, and averaged 27 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game in the state playoffs. Among the players Torbert beat out for the honor was 7-1 center Tyson Chandler of Dominguez High in Compton, Calif. Michigan State recruit Kelvin Torbert has been named the Gatorade high school player of the year. Torbert, who also made the McDonald's All-American team and was named the Sporting News Player of the Year and Michigan's Mr. Basketball : He might never play a minute of college ball. He has indicated there's a chance he could enter the NBA draft next June if he believes his skills are good enough.Shortly before the start of this season, Torbert said he would consider entering the NBA draft if it was clear to him that he would be a lottery pick. Scouts from NBA franchises such as the Pistons, Bulls and Grizzlies have attended a number of Torbert's games, heightening the rumors of him turning his back on MSU and becoming a professional. - If Tom Izzo hasn't heard the good news yet, he soon will.Kelvin Torbert, the state's top player from Flint Northwestern who signed with Michigan State last November, recently ended the speculation on whether he would consider entering the NBA draft in June. "My family wants me to go to school," Torbert said. "Basically, I'm focusing in on school (at MSU). I'm not even thinking about the NBA. There isn't anything right now that would make me go to the NBA. My family and I have talked 10 or 15 times about this. About what would be best for me. And the best thing for me is to go to Michigan State." Whether Torbert ever sets foot on the MSU campus remains to be seen as some observers have predicted he'll bypass college and enter the NBA draft next summer. But according to Torbert, he'll suit up in the Spartans' green and white and continue the Flint-Michigan State connection. "It never really crossed my mind," Torbert said of bypassing college. "I heard the talk and all. I really wanted to go to school for my four years, have fun as a college student and all the rest will fall into place. Right now, I'm really focused on going to school. The early scouting report on Torbert says he is even more athletic than Richardson -- which made the possibility of them being on the floor at the same time a scary proposition -- and has a better outside game.Said ESPN analyst Dick Vitale: "As long as that one guy (Izzo) remains on the sideline, they're going to be in great shape. Kelvin Torbert is a diaper dandy. Duke has reloaded (after losing several players early to the NBA), and that's what's going to happen with Michigan State."Torbert update Despite rumors, Kelvin Torbert of Flint Northwestern will not enter the NBA draft and will honor his letter-of-intent to attend MSU in the fall, his high school coach said. There had been speculation that Tolbert was to have a news conference Friday, at which he would announce his intention of bypassing college and becoming eligible for the draft.Don't be shocked if the Spartans also lose star recruit Kelvin Torbert, a 6-4 guard from, yes, Flint, Mich. Northwestern Coach Grover Kirkland said he talked to Tolbert on Wednesday. "I asked Kelvin a direct question," Kirkland said. "I asked him what his plans were. If he was going pro or not. He said no, he would not go pro, that he would attend Michigan State." Tolbert, a 6-4 guard, was named winner of the Mr. Basketball Award last month. He also was named the Sporting News' Player of the Year. Torbert could not be reached for comment. Had Torbert pursued the NBA immediately, he was projected as a top 15 pick in the 2001 NBA Draft.

They should also invite and interview pro wrestlers who are ALSO real catch wrestlers. People like Kevin Lloyd ( level 2 assistant coach at snake pit Wigan), Heddi Karaoui( black belt in judo and submission art wrestling ( mix of judo, catch wrestling, and sambo)), Debbie Malenko( student of Karl Gotch. Also did one mma fight), Dean Malenko( student of Karl Gotch. Also was high school wrestler), Shayna Baszler( trained by billy Robinson), Colleen Schneider ( study under Erik Paulson), etc. Many have competed in real catch wrestling and some have also competed in bjj.
Kevin Lloyd have competed in real catch, bjj, and freestyle wrestling. While Heddi Karaoui have competed in catch wrestling and submission grappling ( FILA grappling world championship). Colleen Schneider competed in catch wrestling and FILA world grappling championship. Shayna Baszler competed in catch wrestling, FILA world grappling , and ADCC. Jennifer Thomas( study under catch wrestling alliance) completed in catch wrestling and mma. Etc.
I've sat up there in those seats many times when they were $5 a seat, there was no empty seats to move to then though, but the scenery is amazing.
Definitely a great spot to catch views of the skylines!
Matt rocking the Fuddruckers shirt! 😎
Classic tee.
Im not sure how anyone can blame Izzo when Ager, Brown and Anderson from the same team at MSU made the NBA....the reality is his skillset (shooting, handles) was far from a sure thing at the NBA level....if im not mistaken they had to completely re-tool his jumpshot at MSU because he shot it on the way down and props to him he became a good 3pt shooter at the college level. My question is...did he ever even get a legit shot at the NBA? Any tryouts, pre-season etc? I dont think they had the summer league back then
There was a summer league but it wasn't what it is now. All fair points, I guess the argument could be did messing with the mechanics set him back, or playing in a "system" like Izzo's hold him back? Like Eric (and Kelvin) said, no hard feelings, but an interesting "what if"...
Thank you guys for another solid podcast
yessir, thanks for all the support!

KT could go physical and was smooth athletic. He was so smooth he made his speed and quickness look slow. Don’t be fooled by how he bounced around on the court. He was quick as a car.
All around great player for sure.
