Just recently realized it as a Canadian that we say "about" differently. The best way I can describe it is, if you were to slow down the audio, you would hear Canadians say "ah-bow-oot" with the "bow-oot" being one syllable and the "bow" being much longer in duration than the "oot." Where Americans would say "ah-bow-t" and leave out the extra "oo" that Canadians add. It's a very subtle difference. Americans pick up on the subtle "oo" and can tell there something different "ah-bow-t" the way we say "ah-bow-oot" but can't really figure it out. So they just say "a-boot".

I usually can tell people are Canadian by the way they say "sorry"

Most of these aren't an accent at all. Or its been heavily muddled down because of her time in L.A. I think it may sound slightly different to someone who isn't used to the Canadian accent, but to a Canadian or upper Midwesterner, its not even there.
