Is that freehold?

Lovely, but....how are you going to get (carried, dragged or wheel barrowed), all the inevitable garden needs and waste (prunings, cuttings, soil, equipment, paraphernalia, etc.) from the front of the house to the rear, and vice versa? Currently, there must be some sort of access across neighbour's garden or through the adjacent field over the wall? But not guaranteed I imagine. A major pain and faux pa to have extended this house fully to the stone wall boundary.

Beautiful house. It's so nice to be able to park inside a garage, but I do like all the extra storage they've created, which is always a premium feature.

Squeezed in between a busy road & a mainline raikway track…….easy to buy, very hard to sell on.

I grew up in this house, my parents put in so much work to turn it from the shell it used to be into the most amazing home to live in, we moved to Australia back in 2011 but it warms my heart to see this house again❤️ thanks for bringing the memories back!

"Partition it off"! That gorgeous dining room, with those Georgian proportions! I hope someone with better taste than that buys this beautiful house. That room is perfect as it is. And HANDS OFF that kitchen! Do you know how rare it is to find an original unspoilt kitchen like that, that hasn't been updated and ruined? If I lived in England I would buy that house at once. And I would never "develop" it....shudder....

I hate the word "development." Restoration is far more civilised.

What a fabulous home

I can see a great potential here - in the states, we would call this a "fixer-upper with great potential to build some sweat equity". Seems a bit pricy for the amount of work it needs, but then, it's all about location, isn't it? Needs total renovation but when done, someone will have a beautiful property with privacy and a beautiful location. I always enjoy your house tours, very thorough and informative.
