My attempt at a sped up version of a favorite track by Lock Up. Nick Barker was the drummer for this album and the track - Secret Parallel World - is a blinder. I used the Moises app to silence the drums as well as increase the tempo to 280bpm. Lovable, cuddly, romantic, slow-dance number from Bolt Thrower! I loved this track as soon as I heard it back in the late 80's. Not so easy to play due to the bounce around tempo changes, but I sped it up for this version to make it more challenging. Hope you enjoy it!👊

Fucking how. Lol I use the same technique and it cramps my hand at such speeds
I’m not even sure if I’m doing it right 😆. It’s mainly done with the middle & ring fingers, but I’m pretty sure my wrist is helping a little bit too. I tried learning the claw for the first time about a year ago and couldn’t get any consistency other than blisters between my fingers. But I’ve been seriously working on finger technique for the last couple of months and I tried the claw again - and holy shit it worked way better this time. I’ve also found that doing claw first helps warm up the fingers. But, strangely, the claw doesn’t work very well around 220 - 240 bpm. It’s better at 250 & up 😉
