@ArinaSharleyChant I so noticed about the reverb drop! I adore the shift! Do consider soft compression with about 1db of net gain to blend with this exact drum tone in that space. Or just pump more breath relative to your drum in natural reverb spaces!
@@SollyAnemone Glad to know that the change affected the video's sound in a positive way😊 I'm still quite new to post-production, so I’m learning as I go. I do use compression, but I still need to figure out how to set the dB and understand what net gain even is! 😂 I feel like such a noob, but that's all part of the process, right? Your technical advice is precious to me since I don’t have anyone to ask about these things. I truly appreciate it! Thank you💖
@ArinaSharleyChant Oh the sound is so lovely! I'm listening to this rather than all other options, aren't I? Such a sacred music flow! All I'm really saying is I want your natural voice tone to come out of the background and shine more. Zero post production could be purrfect! That's kinda opera style, so I'm biased toward that natural-space sound. If I were at the board, though, I'd heat up your vocals, in this mix. It sounds almost like the drum is close by, and you're singing from a distance. Does that make sense? I just wish your voice sounded "close" in audio space like the drum does!
Do consider going to those "compressors" in the plugins, when you're tempted to go for reverb, though: a different approach to making recordings more resonant. Just a concept to explore ;)

I just wish my mind would be more still so I could dive deeper into that melody. My inner critic can be pretty harsh at times, especially about not starting things sooner. But I’ve learned to respond exactly as you said: if I’m doing it only now, I couldn’t have done it earlier. And there’s no use searching for reasons. We all do our best in each moment, and while I can’t change the past, I can shape my future. I’ll just aim to do better and be wiser next time ✨

That doesn't mean we have to be super aware of details (we are all making mistakes or missing something sometimes). We just need to be very aware of that inner critic. For myself I have concluded that BALANCE is truly the 5th element on our journey!🌀 We, as people, can easily fall into the extremes, becoming rigid and narrow in our thinking, as if we’ve put blinders on ourselves. But the truth is, our world is dual-light can't exist without shadow, life is followed by death, and attention to details only serves us well when we can still see the bigger picture! It's all about staying aware, present, and mindful of our own thoughts and actions🙏 With each day, we have the chance to move forward, bit by bit and that's our way!💫

Or are you asking why I don’t sing for longer? I’d love to hear more about what kind of warning and call back you imagine-since I’m singing, the best I can do is to change the rhythm and conclude the melody. Could you share more details about how you envision this working?🙃 I’m always learning and open to improving my videos, so I really appreciate your suggestions! 😊💖

@@royjackson934 Thank you, Roy! I have checked out Martin Duffy's videos. I will consider whether I could implement your idea in my music! 😊🙏 Since my drumming has more of a musical side to it, the 4-beat won't always fit well. For example, currently, I prefer to end my musical pieces with an acceleration of drumming rhythm as a catharsis point. Thank you again for your idea!
