Btw. in my last two matches I lost to players who I can outplay most of the time from the baseline, but they played several dropshots in the crucial moments of the match and won. Dropshots are also extremely powerful to fatique players in mind and body. So dropshots are game changing and people shouldn't be afraid and forgot to use them. I mostly forget that dropshots exist during my matches which is a shame.
Yeah try to have an amount preset in your head for example “I have to do 3 per set “ so at least you don’t forget to do them and also don’t focus a lot on your mistakes
