However, the new owners acknowledge the site's musical history and have preserved the original walls and aesthetic of the old club...and even sell vinyl records now...Punk and new wave legends began their careers at CBGB's: The Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads...also, the home of NYHC - Agnostic Front, Bad Brains, & the Cro-Mags.
