Can’t add original video link because I’m uploading this on my phone and can’t copy the link off RUclips but if you search “national anthem USA” it should be the first one to pop up. Happy 4th of July!!

Edison disc player - At the estate sale
Просмотров 73Год назад
This is the pilot of an experimental series I want to do called At the Estate Sale, the series will showcase things I find interesting while they’re still at the house, whether I buy the item or not. I don’t know if It’ll have any more installments but we’ll see. In this episode I look at an Edison disc player, these are pretty rare because Edison’s discs, or diamond discs as they’re called, ar...
1961 Admiral TV With Original Paperwork!!!

I got this TV at the estate sale that I got the other items in my last video. This upstairs in front of a large fireplace and this was the thing I was going to the sale for in the first place. The sale was by appointment only so when they gave us the slot second to last I was worried the tv wasn’t going to be there, that someone else bought it, but I looked through the house like a tornado, the...

MCS was sort of like Emerson. It looked nice on the outside and it had little or nothing on the inside.
Harman Kardon ! that s what i have as a amp ! it s 120 watts ! american but built in China !
For the love of god, Sort out the Audio already!!
I know, I know. I’m trying to find a decent tripod or stand I can use it a bit tough as I use my tablet as a camera and i keep covering the mic with my hand. I’ll get it sorted!
It says AM/FM all over the box?
It's called sarcasm.
@@ralphreinhardt6020 Didn't seem like it. Not very funny ...
very clean sounding
these are good recommendations
That's my Dad on the drums !! 🇮🇪 Thank you so much!!!❣️
Hi Chris,! what's upof this TV? got it fixed? Is it color or b/w? from the CRT model # you mentioned, it's a 25 inch tube not a 23. Please re-do this video as this one is flickering badly and please film it level with the TV itself, i.e. kneeling to get a better view and not standing up.
It’s color, I stated that in the original video I did on this set and recommend you also watch that. I’m looking into getting it repaired, however I’m still trying to find a reliable repair place in my area. The shakiness is from my phone’s camera which broke, I now try and use my much newer iPad’s camera whenever I can. You are right I got the tube model mixed up, but I also found out the picture tube isn’t the issue. Thank you for watching!
@@OldRadioMan It's a classy looking TV set, I hope you get it workking soon. I grew up with a similar set from Pansonic/Matsushita. Too bad my parents didn't keep it. Can't stop wondering where it ended.
The old white noise generator was interesting. From late 1960s or 1970s? Could’ve also been used in a medical or psychiatric office.
Early 80s if I remember from my research. Don’t really know the application, however I think it was just sold to the general public as it was found in a thrift store and it was the only one there.
maybe you should try practicing soldering on an old board or something & you can try to re solder the wires to the pins. maybe shango066 or radiotvphononut can help you find out what wires go where.
😮 2023 was good to you!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!
Happy 4th
Your so lucky! That’s literally exactly my dream tv!
Very poorly recorded, but sounds like it could be an interesting series.
Thanks for watching! The reason it was poorly recorded was that I had to be quiet and quick because it was an open sale and someone could have walked in at any moment which actually happened during recording and is the reason the ending was rushed also the video is shaky because my phone camera is broken.
@@OldRadioMan I can relate. I too am old, and am using outdated, low end electronics. The computer I'm watching this on is a second hand tower I picked up for $50. Ya have to work with what ya have.
Read the description for more details
I got the year the tv was made wrong the actual year is 1963
Shango066 would be proud
Nasty
Oh, my God! Another of grandma's famous poeces of functional furniture!!! I listened to The Beatles on that, getting my first taste of music as a child. It's LOVELY.
My grandma had a TV just like that - I believe the same model! I wish you great luck in resoring it. Frankly, it played a large role in my life, and there's nothing like that beauty as an addition piece of functional furniture in one's home.
I have no idea how this got into my recommended but I'm going to blame Technology Connections.
I did a bit of research on this TV and the model number I had in the title (21ZP4B) is the model number of the CRT, the actual model number is 21T19 and is from 1955….
Your phone's camera is freaking out, you own a 14(pro)? You should update the phone man.
I own an iPhone 8 (by choice) and the camera did this after I dropped it once but that’s the only thing that broke the phone and still work completely fine (besides the camera) so I don’t fell I need to upgrade, and I’m actually writhing this on said iPhone….
Going to play this Christmas eve. It's perfect!
THIS WORLD, HAS COME A LONG WAY.....SINCE 1880'S WILD WESTS' shootouts......from cavemen, to radio-men, in about 65 years. Quite an achievement, i suppose. WHERE WILL WAR, take us now ? /.......another 65 years, where will we be ? ......maybe extinct, the way nations are going t o d a y......bye-bye humans.....
I want one now
only tubes can sound so mellow
Sound quality has a lot more to do with the speaker(s). These didn't typically have tweeters so not much high end.
One has to wonder if that radio has played that song before
....probably many times....
Great collection! I have a 1939 floor stand Zenith radio. Unfortunately doesn't work and can't be repaired economically but I restored the wood finish and the speaker's cloth, placed a CD changer inside and when turned on the dial lights and the blue light from the main vacuum tube turns on. Now I enjoy old music and old radio shows on CD through the old radio giving the "appearance" it works. It's sooooo freaking cool!
RIP shortwave radio 😢
This reminds me of the recently rediscovered original broadcast recording of this song
Thank you!!!!!! ❤️
Happy St. Patrick’s day ☘️☘️🍻🍺
