Nice To Meet You: Robert Rashad
It was nice to meet Mr. Robert Rashad. The Lincoln University Alumni Association President tells us about his life and the journey that led to settling down in the Kansas City area. Mr. Rashad attended the HBCU in the 1960's where he met his wife and shares his experiences of traveling the country after college, soul searching throughout the years of the civil rights movement.

I wish Woodneath was closer to Kansas City. I've been going to the library for years and only recently found out they had so much to offer. I still haven't made it out there yet though.

My husband and I just built a house. Woodneath was one of our options for a neighborhood, though we ended up building elsewhere. If I had known that an MCPL branch was slated for that area, it might have swayed our decision. :D
