Leonard's childhood makes me so sad

I’m not saying that people should playing bongos at 3 in the morning, nor would I ever encourage it, but in order for bongos to be played, they have to be tuned up really high.

Now I can understand why Leonard was okay being the roommate of Sheldon 😂.

Dr. Beverly is just like my mom, but no were near as smart but just cruel, distante and cold.

She's a horrible, horrible person. I know a real life Psychiatrist who makes colleagues feel this way (and even worse). It's mental torture being around them, which is really sad for someone who is supposed to create a mentally healthy space for others

design flaw in the character - how did she even manage to get pregnant so many times? who in their right mind would sleep with such a woman & that too knock her up multiple times to make her a mother?

Beverly and Sheldon should have married - they deserve each other. Amy deserved better too..like Raj. Leonard and Alex would have been great together.

The funny thing is Lenard and sheldon were born into the opposite families. Sheldon's like Howards mom and vise versa.

On the one hand her almost robotic matter of fact way of speaking would have made her the perfect mother for Sheldon & explain why he is so much like her. On the other hand Leonard being such a nerotic mess as a result of her lack of compassion also makes sense. It also explains how he can be around Sheldon without having a complete menral breakdown.

I understand being angry with one's mother for decades.

"Buck up, Sissy Pants." I use that all the time.

A lot of people think the fantasy aspect of Leonard's relationship with Penny was all about her looks and her popular girl aura, and that was a part of it, but it was more so because beneath that she is a very emotional and caring person. She embraces and expresses what she feels freely and doesn't rely on logic alone to make her decisions. She's warm and fun and expressive, believes in astrology despite all scientific evidence telling her otherwise- she's everything he wanted from his mother.
