I remember when on the Christmas Eve me and my siblings got some new expansions for the game and we were allowed to take turns playing till the very late hours in the room decorated with colorful Christmas lights. These moments will never be back, but this game was such a huge part of my childhood, I still play it to these days, I’ll be turning 31 in March

I love this. I’m 23 now and remember playing this for the first time on a dell laptop which was my sister snd idk how she ended up getting the game but I was hooked since maybe about 2007-2008 then we got an actual computer an had the sims 3 and I went crazyyyy. Now that computer broke and I haven’t played in like 4 yrs but I still have all the games and expansion packs. Nothing beats waking up in 2008 on a weekend making a bowl of cereal while the game loads and getting to play after finally finishing the houses and building you build. I would play for like 8hrs ++++

Songs of my childhood… I was a small boy from Turkey when I first discovered The Sims. My puberty was very, very difficult (I basically hated being a boy back then, lol), yet this game made life more bearable for me during those times. I loved it, and its memories will always stay with me. One useless fact: I still associate random people I meet with the Sims characters I created back then. I was so depressed at the time that my only dream was to become rich when I grew up so I could play The Sims 2 forever. It turns out, you never need to be rich to play The Sims 2-all you really need is a laptop, a working electricity grid, and a plug.

Die Musik ist halt in dieser Zeit verortet. Aber kein Vergleich mit der deutschen Komposition. Ihrer Zeit weit voraus. Bin mal gespannt wie die Realverfilmung wird. Wenn ich dann die Melodie von Bruhn im Kino höre werde ich mich mich wie ein kleiner Junge freuen. Christian Alvart hat ja leider die Regie abgegeben.
