I have 3 smaller River and Delta units and love them. I jumped on when they were just coming out via Kickstarter and haven't looked back. Fast charging in an hour was a game changer for me.

Congratulations on your new EcoFlow units. I took the plunge a few years ago. Until you get the transfer switch and solar panels installed don't forget that you can charge the units up off of a wall plug and be prepared to keep your refrigerator and lights going in case there is a power outage. Great tools to protect against some of life's uncertainties. Looking forward to any future videos you care to share with us subscribers.

Great that you have the solar panels to recharge the Eco Flow units. Its also good idea to look into a small generator to help to recharge the units if there is not enough solar in case of an emergency

You hit it right on the head with why you got them. When I first got mine it was going to be for a shed away from the house that I didn’t want to run electricity to. I have since thought about using it for the 3-5 hour power outages that we have about 2-3 times a year. They are an investment, but compared to a generac setup, we are way below that cost. We have a generator plug on the outside of the house and a 7500 watt generator in the shed. My parents are getting older and they just don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting the generator out for 3-5 hours, they just will go without. But with these and a smart panel, they won’t have to do anything. And with our current cost of electricity it cost a whole $1.75 to charge both of them up during peak times. So even without Solar, the alternator of your vehicle that runs significantly quieter than a gas generator and probably more efficient, you could keep it going for a good while.

This was the same route that I am currently working on. I got the alternator charger and the transfer switch, but have decided I want the smart home panel instead of transfer switch. The price of the delta pros now is insane. When I got my first one it was 3699 and my second one was 2799 on a Black Friday deal last year. Now I see they can be had for as low as 2099. Good luck and look forward to the content.

I would recommend more panels. I would recommend six or minimum of 4 two per generator to start. Average Joe and Everyday solar have good examples of temporary and easy solar panel setups that are easy to get you started. Once you start you'll start seeing all kinds of opportunities. OMG! :)

Fun fact, you can hotwire your ego batteries to top off your EcoFlow

Just got my Ecoflo Pro Ultra. The box looked like UPS rolled it all the way to West Tennessee. But when opened the box I was very impressed with the packaging and air space there. Inverter and battery were perfectly save, not a scratch. The UPS guy was all of 155 lbs and the battery alone weighs 116 lbs. He was staggering all the way from the truck. He said he hopes I don't order anymore

It’s those simple little solar lights! It’s always those lights! Christmas lights, spot lights, camping lights…IT DOES NOT MATTER!! Once the magic of ease with those solar lights pulls you in it’s straight downhill. Now you’re doing your first small battery diy system. Then you upsize that beginner project. Next thing you know, the neighbors see a freight delivery truck offloading your 2,000 amp Eco Flow Delta unit(s)!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

these portable power stations are very useful in africa where in most countries power goes off at least once sometimes 3 times or more a week. This allows us to work through the dark times. Great stuff, the solar energy charging is a plus too.

Great investment for the safety of you and your family. I live in Florida and I know something about no electricity during and after a hurricane. I purchased the Bluetti AC 300 with expansion batteries and no longer worry about grid down. It been running my main critical loads for 2 years. Good luck!!

Looking at the load when you connected the 240v combiner it looked like it was pulling approximately 900W between the two units. Obviously that will vary across the time of use and appliances in use. Hope you do a full run through from full to empty and then again with supplemental solar during the day (and again with overcast skies).

Great job. I too will be doing the same. I bought 2 Delta pros and 2 extra batteries. I also bought the smart home 1 panel. Just waiting to get my SHP installed. I will be installing six 500 watt solar panels to recharge them.

Nice work, looking to do similar, and another plus if that you can run this system when ever you want, not only during a power outage. This way it can start paying you back.

Once you get that transfer switch installed and the system connected it's going to actually nice receiving future power bills. Looks like your shed can be used for a few solar panels too. Don't be afraid to get 2nd hand panels, they're cheap and work almost as well. I had to google "I drank the Kool Aid" (Aussie here).....I like it!!!!!!!!

Return it and get eg4 and lithium batteries its cheaper and better thank me later.

I have 3 of the smaller Ecoflow because I am 71 yr old woman with no strength. I also got mine after the Texas ice storm. I truly love this brand. They really come in handy in an emergency. Or camping.

Nice! I bought 48v lifepo4 batteries to supplement capacity. Much cheaper than the Ecoflow Extra Batteries.
