can you guys show a demonstration of opening a WET barrel hydrant?

Why did they decide to paint and bondo over the set -screwes? I have a 2002 model that has the set - screw easy to access incase that nozzle had to be replaced

The wet barrel hydrant is so much more efficient when it comes to operation. During a fire you don't want to shut down your hydrant to set up a second nozzle.. This would also include a problem with any missing caps in some cases you may find on wet barrel series and would create further delay on plugging up a missing cap for a DBH.

Question, If the post hydrant is only meant for flushing purposes and below fire fighting requirements in city areas,why are there so many in California residential areas in California that of course uses a wet barrel series post hydrant with only one 2.5 hose nozzle?

Are the nozzle caps the same design on both the wet &dry barrel types? And are they available in bronze instead of cast iron? I'm currently using the AVK dry barrel model and was looking for bronze instead of cast iron since case tends to rust making it difficult to remove in most cases...
