Great job guys! what time you started? can you enter a restricted area before 8:45 AM ? I'm trying to buy permission but showing the time 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
Thanks. We started around 8:30 am. We didn't know one could purchase a permit to enter the restricted area, and so we didn't enter the restricted area.
@@关沧海-t3j thank you, my bad I meant to pass through restricted area, beacuase my goal to go Mount Stephen Summit only, Do I need to purchase a permit? if not how to get permission? Please answer this question for other hikers may get benefit from. thank you
You can apply via email. Please be aware that the park needs 3 business days to process the application . It is free.

It is located in Canmore, Alberta, Canada. The summit elevation is 2700m, 1000m elevation gain from the trailhead.

it is an easy but very satisfying 9 k footer with good views. I don't remember any down climbing but maybe the current owners of the old Johnny's Riding are trying to restrict access to Stone canyon....which they cannot do legally. Nice trip and nice video. Thanks for posting
We did this loop yesterday, Mar.18, 2023. Went clockwise, knee-deep snow almost all the way up to the ridge.

It would perhaps be better if you didn't change the route from Mount Boom to here. There was almost no snow after passing over Highway 93.😂
