@@JackMuren Seeing Kirk in net explains a lot of the awkwardness in my play style. I literally played the exact same way and remember standing on the post with my pads clinched tight back in the early 2000's. The crawling on my knees from post to post, he does it too. Diving across the crease (like in their first goal) is completely native for me. I never filmed myself back then and now I trying to learn a completely new play style makes for some interesting video. And typically in the beginning of the game I start more modern but as I get tired I default back to 2000. I'll get it eventually. @@NerdrageHockey honestly, I started playing the same style as a kid. I started in roller hockey and was a big fan of the Hasek style of goaltending because I had never received any coaching and it seemed very easy to play that scramble type of goaltending. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that style, but as I got older, I really wanted to learn the discipline of a very stable/boring Carey Price style of goaltending. Still haven't mastered that, but it has been a fun journey learning about the position and all the different style and personality that comes along with it. I've really enjoyed sharing with all the different goalies on RUclips. Thankful to have been a part of everyone's hockey journey and have them be a part of mine too.

If goal 2 would have had any more juice on it then it would have bounced away, instead it hit my blocker and died. Goal 3 if I would have just gloved it on the initial shot. 5 I've never been scored on like that before. I've seen it in the pro's but Ron, the guy who shot it and a friend of mine, just dumped it towards the net and I was more worried about a centering pass. Goalies always seem to be harder on themselves than anybody else is. Goal 6 I really feel I should have got a glove on it and I watched it frame by frame. I dropped the glove hand in preparation to push right. Had it been where it was supposed to be... Thanks for the commentary and watching!

@@NerdrageHockey I never doubted you. Glad to hear you are feeling better after dropping weight. Keep it up.

You made some solid stops in this skate. Mostly just by being in a good position. Bummer the other goalie was a no show, but at least you guys got to play. I've had more than 8 goals scored on me many times. The other team didn't fair too bad. Nice job out there. You look more comfortable in all your movements. How is the hip flexibility?

Not really #3 and #20 were quick but you did manage to shoot wide left by like 4 feet so there was some improvement over last time.

Very solid performance by both goalies. Also, the skill seemed very even on both sides. Well played game by both teams. You made a lot of plays with your stick in this game. Nicely done!

I got a new stick (new to me). It is really light and the pucks shoot off it. At 1:46 I even looked at it after a puck unexpectantly took off instead of hopping right to my D.

Technical difficulties with cameras are always disappointing. At least you were able to salvage some footage. You made some good saves. Faced some fast shots too. Some solid saves with that right pad. Nice job!

I was checking out your "Featured goalie" Video, reminds me of half my videos where it seems like the other guy is always playing really well.

@@NerdrageHockey lol it feels that way sometimes. Ron had not played in 14 months due to injury. I was happy for him to have such a successful return to the ice.
