Keys To Anywhere
Добавлен 8 авг 2021
Hello,
We are Tom & Liz. We are blessed to live where most vacation, the Florida Keys. So when you live where everyone comes, where do you go? Well anywhere you want. Keys to Anywhere is our travels and adventures of our quick getaways. As much as we would love to be full time travelers, it doesn't work for us right now. So we like to call ourselves weekend warriors and make the best of the trips we can. We purchased a small Runaway Camper in April 2021 and want to see as much of the United States as we can. So follow along, watch our journey and maybe our paths cross along the way.
Happy Travels,
Tom & Liz

Our first camper! We picked it up here in Florida, @Runaway HQ! Discount Code for The Wander Club Keychain: thewanderclub.com/discount/LIZ95740
Very nice! I really like your clever window blinds, a Roman blind made even simpler, well done.
Chuck Box light weight
What brand of your awning?
Firstly, your mods and accessories are great---thoughtfully executed. Secondly, you both have an excellent way of communicating your thoughts--straightforward and knowledgeable. Tom (if I may be so informal), on behalf of my people, I apologize for the loud neighbors. I recognize my peeps anywhere, and though generalizations are usually problematic, I can attest that yes, we are generally a loud, effusive bunch. (I am an American of Cuban descent). I was even able to hear a man yelling about something happening at 3:00am. Of course, I'm just having some good-natured fun at my own expense, so please, nobody take offense. Thanks again for your great video. I just subscribed. Gracias a los dos.
What if your 6'2" tall? How can you sleep stretched out? Plus looks like you have to crawl over the other person to go pee or whatever at night.
This is a really nice build. I am 6'3" tall and really needed all our space literally for leg room. But I envy this clever use of space. Subscribed..
where did you get the security cameras? i love that idea
Are they still working good now? I like what you did, and I think iam going to do this also. Thank you.
Can you still put a queen size mattress in there? What size runaway did you get?
love your videos. We are considering getting a runaway camper. Can you please provide a link to your exact awning ? Thanks
Referring to the bed; by Susie’s design, do you mean Susie Moman’s?
Good job wizz..nice ..
Wow!! Thank-you for sharing! Beautiful set up! Lot's of great ideas, super layout and careful considerations!
This is awesome 👌 Thanks for sharing 👍
By far, the best build out I have seen, very impressive. I'm planning on buying one sooner then later and your build was very inspiring. You earned a sub.
Great video! Your mods are well imagined, innovative and well executed 👍
What did you use to attach the aluminum angle to the trailer walls. I'm going to do a galley in mine as well.
this is the best build out I've seen yet. great job.
Just purchased a 2022 range runner second hand. Would love to see more info on the bed frame build and how the bed foams were made. That's the missing piece for me. Don't have the rear hatch door, so a galley isn't possible for me. I'm too scared to try and do a cutout for a door install.
Tom, where did you get that folding camping table? I have seen similar but I like the legs on the one that you have.
Dude I think your video answered my question... If you were to lock this box to a cargo hitch basket, would you use those wire loops you made? Lock it down through those then lock the latches shut?
Well they do make a bracket that locks it down, see it it fits your basket. If not I would make cables to it!
Amazing build!
Do you have a link for those shelf brackets?
No sorry its just standard angle aluminum at your local hardware store
Ah yes, Bahia grass.
I like the shelves idea.
Where did you get your "keys to anywhere" sticker from? Is it permanent or could it be removed?
Local sign shop, they can be removed, but the longer they are installed the more sun faded the camper gets around them
What type and length screws did you use to affix your shelving and curtain rod brackets to the composite walls?
Depends on the wood you use, Measure the wood plus 1/2 inch
Your camper is so beautiful! The attention to detail and thoughtful layout put it over the top. You should consider selling plans to other Runaway owners.
Nice set up! Love the galley, how deep is it? Cool you used Susie's bed design
15 inch
Beautiful job. What was the material you used on the AC wall?
I really appreciate how you explained your build and the accessories you've added and use! Your ideas about small rv's and experiences Camping are of great Interest to many, I'm sure!
Awesome
Excellent build! We just moved to Gainesville from Marathon (right by the Seven Mile Bridge). We should get our Runaway Rouser in September and plan on coming back down to camp the keys in the near future. Safe travels!
We are going to the same place in November! Thanks for such a thorough walkthrough. I really enjoy looking at how other Runaway Camper owners set up their space.
Awesome!
Love ❤️ very nice.
Yours is the I mean THE most beautiful, well designed Ranaway camper I've seen so far and I've seen a lot. Well done, I liked the details and nice touches in that little home. Wish you a safe wonderful trips and will be waching you guys.
Fellow Runaway owner here! Always looking to see how others trick out theirs. Looking good!
Well Done..
This is a great video and a wonderful build.
How did you mount the wood to the fiberglass. Did you use screws, or something else. I don't want to drill holes in in the camper.
Nice job on videos. Nice job on build. I’m subscribed and looking forward to more content. Thanks!
Very nice, looks professional!!
Hi There. Saw your trailer on a 2022 Runaway homecoming video. Are you planning any videos on how you did the interior, final size of the bed, etc.? You did a really nice design and I'm curious how the setup is working for you. Thanks, Steve
Just passed you on I 75 north of Gainesville in our really dirty jeeps. The name on this side of your camper looked like a RUclips channel so I looked you upJust wanted to say hi!
Yes we remember seeing you. We were saying it looks like they had fun! Thanks for saying hi, check us out on Instagram too! @keystoanywhere
Saw you on Glorious Adventures vlog. Gave you a thumbs up and a subscribe.
New subscriber here. I saw you on Glorious Day Adventures video from the Homecoming. I had a Runaway Cool Camp in 2020 for a short time. It was too small for my liking, so I sold it, and was going to get a RangeRunner, then found my little fiberglass camper, and bought that instead. Still a work in progress, but I love it!
What a beautiful build! And I agree, why haven't more built it this way-like a tear drop.
Why did you choose the model you did ? Would you do something different ? (Great video. Keep'm coming.) 👍 🙂
4x8 was too small for two people plus a galley, and rouser wasn’t made yet so a 6x8 was the only option for what we needed
Finally. Someone building out a Runaway with a galley like a teardrop. Why don't more Runaway owners do this? I'm anxiously awaiting my own RR and plan to do something similar.
Why did you choose the RR ?
@@androidbakery Price and weight. My Subaru Crosstrek can't tow much and the RR offered the most bang for the buck.
