How To Get The Amazing Lawn You Want!
Put me down for the baby unit - when will it be ready for sale??
I've been growing my own, on & off, for 50 years, aviidly for the past two decades, & I absolutely endorse what this clever man says. There is a microbial miracle whuch goes on in the gut pf worms, feed them, they will produce half their own body-weight, daily, in excellent fertiliser. I do use more than that; I took some comfrey cuttings a few years ago & that now provides an excellent fertiliser to line my potato trenches, & living by the sea, where there are no restrictions on seaweed harvesting, that too feeds my spuds. I also use both in a bin of water & feed all my greenhouse plants with the extract. It is also said, if you;re struggling to get enough, that there is all you need for your garden in woodash & urine.
Do you have a link for the farm that did the testing? Did they write up their results with data including costs, etc? Also where does the compost come from and how much land does it require to make it? Are we looking at 1 acre of land to make compost and 1 acre of land to grow food? What's the ratio? Also, I would guess the results of that farm you mentioned included higher prices you can get for organic food, since with healthier compost-fed plants you don't need the insecticides that prevent organic certification. Is that right? If so how can we say that this compost-led revolution can truly feed the world at the prices that the world can currently afford for food?
Pay the farmer now or the doctor later. Have heard bits and pieces of this before but this is the most comprehensive discussion I have heard on the soil food web along with its link to weather. Besides my garden beds, I have some plants in pots/grow bags which I populate with worms. Periodically, I top up the pots/bags with homemade compost or chop and drop. Have been amazed at the life in those things. Move the leaf mulch and the surface is scurrying with all sorts of activity. The worms provide vermicast in situ. Found this out by accident when I dumped a grow bag after growing some seasonal veg and it was full of big worms that got in there from my regular compost or my worm compost. Now when I refresh the soil mixture I make sure a few worms get back into the bags. The pots are sitting on the ground so worms have access through the bottom as well. Also, I have some perennial pollinator-attracting plants in pots. During winter after they have gone to seed, I plant pansies in the pots to help keep the soil mixture activity going. As things heat up again in spring the pansies die back and the perennials come back to life. Win, win. 😊
You are my new inspiration

"only 8% of our dna is switched on" bruh, people in regen need to stop mixing fantasy and reality... you just loose all credability when you throw out nonsense like that even if its surrounded by really insightful infomation
I found this AI regarding Epigenetics In a differentiated cell, only a small percentage of DNA is typically active, with estimates suggesting that around 10-20% of genes are actively expressed due to epigenetic regulation, meaning only this portion of the DNA is being "read" and translated into proteins at any given time.
Scag has has this belt setup for 20 years
Fantastic vid. Really enjoyed seeing the full range. Looking forward to buying some Felco secateurs. I think Felco should sponsor me a set of the 6m pruners for all my palms.
when is the lbpx1100 coming out
Great brand of tools. we have their weedeater and enjoy useing it.
Had one for a couple of months now so much better especially with overgrown edgers
I really like this guy he makes so much sense and has explained why I have so much issues talking about my business most people just aren't made to run a successful business.
it's cool they are thinking ahead of the game it would be a shame to see all those old lawn equipment tools sent to the dump when petrol engines become more and more restricted
I bought one 4 years ago on Amazon. I still use the tool all the time. I don't trust the sensor so I very careful with it or I will use a metal chain glove. It is a great tool for pruning trees and bushes.
So if it's someone eLsEs..?
So this is actually a good reason not to wear a condom right?
What about green wood?
Bro put that sausage finger in there come on ! Show the people
The only real way to test it is to unzip😮
the "secret sauce" he keeps mentioning is graphene. Kress and a few other use graphene to help keep their batteries cooler during use/charging. the down side is weight. their batteries are huge and weigh significantly more than others to get that super fast charging.
A lot of Mexican cartels aren’t going to be happy about this😂
If you dont trust it 100% its pointless😂
jim is always thinking about the fall of rome
Their maintenance (Fleet Services) app sounds like a great innovation for contractors
Try it with a gloved finger.
New LMX is an awesome bit of kit, and great feedback. But yeah, not quite there for scalping. Honda HRU216 cuts down to 16mm out of the box… and obviously still available. And being swing-back it’s quite easy to drop the blade tips even lower. I’d still*love* to see a swing back kit for the Ego LMX
Is there a segment with Makita coming up? Loving the content 👍
We had a segment with Makita booked in but they had to cancel due to illness
Really stoked you did this ya legend, so happy to have an aussie bloke gardening podcast/youtube Keep up tye great work very much appreciated aye bless you
@@LifewithLewi thanks for supporting
Have someone else put their finger in there not holding the tool. ;)
Never would have believed it if it hadn't appeared on this programme! What an incredible range.
The best of the best, this channel is amazing
Anti-yakuza secateurs! 🗡️
Ozito , the original yakuza secateurs Awesome for sausages , check em out at the saturday sausage sandwich at bunnings lol
Really enjoying this series. Cheers.
Being invested in the ego environment both domestic and commercial I really enjoy watching baz pitch his wares! Other than the mention of China a few too many times there is so much goodness in this vid. The only thing I’m getting frustrated with is the lack of 30” mower. I’m going to buy one in the short to medium term and don’t want to have to go to a competitor and it sucks that they have really lagged in this department (both walk behind and stander) when their competitors already have it on market
I watched a video recently some US expo tool fest and they are working on a prototype 30inch has a composite deck eg light weight not much heavier then the 22 inch a few kilos, they had a demo one there for show. See Fresh Cutz Lawn Care - under shorts heading
Great vid and some great looking products. As some customer feedback for Ego, I totally disagree with the approach to keep it to a 20mm minimum, battery powered mowers especially commercial ones should be able to go low and allow for scalping even if it means I have to do it in 2 or 3 sessions and charge in between, at least give me the capability please! Especially given how much torque you’re celebrating! I can only guess that it’s more of a problem that the motor can’t handle it or some other issue… perhaps longevity of the product as no brand seems willing to do it?
It means people are going to have to run a petrol for scalping and electric for maintenance, give them options please! You’ll dominate the home enthusiast market too..
You should get a KFC affiliation😂
Props to the production team on all these videos, great camera sound and lighting!
@@warrensmith3471 Ethan did a great job
11:20 what have you got ? Ghostbusters 😂
That's exactly what it is!

just buy a backpack blower and a 1100cfm backpack one is coming out soon
I have a 2020/21 model Titan hd2000 52" mulching deck which, I should preface, I love. It easily pays for itself each year. It runs like a dream Here it comes though, BUT, the pneumatic front swivel wheels drive me absolutely, insert many expletives any and all you can think of, nuts!!!!!! Each time before I step onto the mower, instead of simply kicking the tyres to ensure they are inflated, I need to inflate one or both. The 7 acre undulating terrain I mow is not parkland but nor is it hard core Aussie bush. Primarily it is Kyk with the surface roots of aged eucalypts in places, that, apparently, can break a bead seal on a wheel. I am a one man operation that wears numerous caps. I don't have time in my day to avoid large swathes of grass to come back later to whipper snip around that many trees. I have a wonderful service agent in the northern suburbs of Melbourne who I bought the machine from and also services it. They have tried recently to ensure the beads are clean. Previously, I had tried through another party to tube the tyres to no avail (6.5x13 tubes are not readily available causing there abouts tubes to slip within the tyre). TORO in USA offers solid front wheels. Why the hell am I unable to purchase them through an Australian agent or direct from TORO Australia????. If memory serves, I would gladly part with $600.00 AUD to ensure I can simply jump on the machine and get to work. This is certainly a consideration I have in deciding what sits under my arse as I explore updating to a new machine
I had previous experience (2018) using irrigation pumps on large agriculture sites. Diesel was slightly cheaper to run and own , UNLESS you conducted the majority of the irrigation at an off peak rate. Note this was not using battery but direct connection. Add a battery which are a significant additional cost with a finite life - diesel would have a significant advantage. I doubt the claims by many that the cost of total ownership of battery is lower than fuel. For context i have owned a 3 tonne electric forklift. I have experienced the decision making process and the ownership following.
I REALLY LIKE SKAG
Enjoyed watching very informative, they looked well designed machines.
