Come, join me for a journey into what it’s like to drive a heavily modified car 800ish miles, into the unknown. Will everything go as planned? Will the car do donuts? Will it get back home under its own power? SO to Proven_Racing_Bend for the tuning work! Hit him up if you’re in middle Oregon.
600HP AWD Civic VS 600HP Cobra
Просмотров 6524 года назад
The HP numbers are best estimations. The race was decided to be a 20 with a loose finish line of the spectators. Mustang didn’t slow to 20 for the first race, so they raced again. This was filmed on a closed course in Canada with a street race vibe in mind.

My friend purchased a Rogue Engineering -El Diablo muffler to install on his 2002 BMW M3, so here is a clip before (with stock muffler), during (no muffler 🤣) and after! (With new muffler). Hell yeah, you know?

How to: Power folding mirrors for Honda Civic ek 96-00
Still have that relay?
Which transmission did you used bro??
To start I used CRV with the GSR gear set using the FWD2AWD kit. I broke 3rd and upgraded to a gearX dog box. You need some sort of gear set if you want to make any decent power and not have to open the trans up and spend more money soon.
Thanks for the reply bro, but how did you manage to make work as fwd as I have crv trans also but I have no idea on how to make work.
@@stemsalazar8439 message me on IG @ej8build
So what about the shim marked blue I’m still so confused how to stack that shim. 😭😭😭
38:40 , when I put this together I emailed SF and ask conformation that it goes here. They confirmed I had it in the right location.
Nice video 👍 👍 👍 📸
Should have never should us the no muffler sound 😂😂😂😂
Never been so confused in my life 😢
Lmao yes I did a shit ass job. Adhd did me dirty haha. If you’re still at it lmk and I’ll help if I can.
I love the fact she was driving barefoot
This videos is a great idea bro thanks. I was think a way around using the heater hose slot
hey do u have ig i wana dm u about the power folding mirrors having issue with up down left right not working right
Ej8build, but I’m going to direct you to a friend who has done it more recently
thanks so much for making this video 🙏🏻 i watched it about 10 times throughout the week until i finally did it today
Bro i thin the 2 extra wires are from the defogger system right? This vídeo have 2 years so u know allá of that i gues
Did you switch out to eg subframe or still using ek?
Still using ek
@@princeraja thanks!
I really would like to know how you went about shimming the transmission Honda doesn’t sell the shims anymore for this transmission, so what was your alternative and what was your end play
I went to a trans shop and found an old timer there who let me look through a collection of old shims. I had my caliper and a note pad there lol. The OD and ID don’t have to be perfect, obviously OD can’t be too large, and ID not too small. You can even stack them if needed, why not. My end play was in spec, .004”? I think.
@@princeraja what were your shims size that you used?
1 question if I instal the FWD2AWD on my CRV awd Transmicion, can I use my speed factory final drive that I have on my b16 transmission?
The FWD ring gear won’t bolt onto the AWD diff, so you have to either use the CRV final drive or buy an aftermarket AWD specific final drive set.
Still have that relay?
Hi, could yo tell me Where did you Bought the mirrors or what could Fit on my ej8?
What side mirror would I need to do this ?
Search up eBay for ek power folding mirrors. You can find them labeled as ek9 often but they also came on none type r cars. I recommend trying to find the relay which has a single row of pins instead of 2.
Blew my mind beautiful editing great cut scenes and content.
Glad u enjoyed!

Crazy stuff at the end! Glad you're back man see ya soon (...ish) 😂
br00t4l goped fail!
Lmao is that what got you here?
This video gave me hope when my timing belt broke a few months ago. Now my Eclipse is back on the road after swapping the cylinder heads. Thanks!
Currently doing my fwd2awd trans and im stuck did the shim on the upper case have to be changed if so what did you use?
The guy that kept laughing when you asked him if he remembered where he picked you up lol amazing bro
She was my taxi driver haha, I was trying to tell her I hiked to the peak near where she picked me up lol. Also after she picked me up, she asked I minded if she picked a friend to tag along for the ride? Haha
You been like a flea on a dog traveling all around dis planet 🤙
That my friend was awesome!
Thank you my friend
breathhtaking uploading- Garaja- =)
Man looks like an OEM lip but if it was rep, where did you get it??? I need the link!!
It is indeed OEM. Best of luck!
EK civic. Do you know if the RSX shifter and RSX cables work with the crv tranny? or do I need a crv shifter and cables?
If you’re talking B series, I believe that the rsx shifter does not work, and you will need the CRV parts.
@@princeraja my bad. Didn't realize this was a bseries build.
What solid mounts did u use crv ?
Youre still running a b16a3 right?
No. I didn’t document well for the turbo part of the build. I have a benson sleeved b18c1 in there. Matching head.
🔥🔥🔥
Good stuff man. I’m currently at this stage on my buddy’s car also. I’ve been hesitant to weld that bar also because unsure of what the diff angle is supposed to be . I’ll probably just point it up and weld the support bar there. How has it been working out for you ?
If you get another pair of hands to hold things in place, you could try those a level on the face of the flange of the diff to see how close you are to 0 degrees. Driveline and rear diff/viscous coupler mount and all that has been working perfectly!
@@princeraja awesome. Should be able to hold it up , luckily we’re doing it on a two post lift. Thanks for the advice man !
Shadow_built915 Albert Gonzalez I’m jealous! Haha. Post some videos!
@@princeraja I should’ve started recording since the beginning but I’ll make sure to start now haha.
Hows the bell housing and TC housing holding? At what power level are you at?
I haven’t pushed it yet since install. Also I’ve never dynod, butt dyno says 550. I broke a tcase once already.
@@princeraja Ok. I figured the t case would give b4 the bellhousing. I have the same setup for transmission/tc as too so this is good info. Thanks
Minus the ppg gears. Ill most likely get those as well
Sexy car!!
That car has come a long, long way since I last rode in it.
Nice video quick question how much did that transmission upgrade cost?
It was right around 7k not including the core, but also including the PPG transfer case parts.
Thanks for the update video. Looks great.
I have a question where was your ground & positive wired to on car
I used the original power and ground that was supplied to the original style switch.
What about the motor Mechanism?
What do you mean? They are inside each mirror and I had no need to disassemble them.
nice
Yeah it’s like that for 88-91 civic. Not a whole lot of actual good write ups or videos
im not into racing but i want an automatic awd civic. i have an automatic 2000 civic Si coupe. I want to convert it to AWD. I also have an automatic 1999 Honda CR-V AWD as a donor car. i want to know if it is possible to take the engine(B20Z2), transmission, transfer case, driveshaft, and rear differential from the automatic CR-V and swap them into the automatic civic. Allowing the civic to remain as an automatic?
Heck yeah it’s possible. It may take some extra wiring work possibly. What you’re doing would be fairly cheap because you wouldn’t need all the modifications needed to really get all the performance out of the AWD system.
The two major things are going to be making sure the auto trans wiring is the same for the original set up and the CRV set up. If not then you’ll need to modify the wiring. The second thing is mounting the rear differential. You’ll have to buy or make a trailing arm kit. Message me if you’d like and we can talk more.
Can I get your playlist raj? Stellar video felt like I was hanging out with you.
