The Englander Institute for Precision Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is a translational research hub.
The EIPM team includes clinicians, basic scientists, pathologists, molecular biologists, and computational biologists. These physician-scientists are directing their collective expertise and wealth of knowledge to pinpoint the molecular underpinnings of disease and spur the discovery of novel therapies.
Researchers at the EIPM utilize the latest tools and technologies in their efforts to better understand the mechanisms driving disease and disease resistance.
Using this expertise to tailor treatments that are unique to the individual is the basis of precision medicine.

Lecture | AI and Medical Extended Reality in the Era of Precision Medicine 2023
In this lecture, we explore the potential of AI-XR in Medicine and more specifically in Precision Medicine. We present ongoing research projects at Weill Cornell Medicine spanning from cancer gene/drug interaction networks, visualizing protein structures, and others. Finally, we will present ongoing XR projects that started during the pandemic, how they are helping clinicians and scientists further medicine and what a post-pandemic future holds for XR in Medicine.
