Cabinet staple removal trick for woodworking.
I hope I didn’t ruin my threads🙄 instructions for sump pump said to use tape…
Fascinating. Really enjoyed the video. I have 2 M31s. Both still repeat. I do have a much newer Mahr that needs service.
Thank you, the m31 is such a beautiful little indicator it was a pleasure to work on. I encourage you to undertake the servicing on the Mahr yourself if you want to develop a deeper appreciation for it, but it is definitely a very delicate device, and you'll have to accept the possibility of accidentally destroying it. I've made more than a few mistakes on the path to learning, but in the end I consider them worthy sacrifices.
He's local to me, was a finalist on forged in fire! I got a skinner from him, and it is high-quality stuff! He also takes on random projects, hes made chisels for me and refurbished axes and rehafted aswell. Definitely reccomend going to his website.
Lesson should be about structural requirements of hand rails.
3/4" steel is more than ample for that. It's all the fill in fancy stuff I've got to do later that will be the lesson.
You suck
1 turn forward half back repeat, not constant cut in one direction, risk breaking brittle tap
I need this for my kerosene heater, too
POS….too light…..handle vibrates hurting hand…tip is dull and not shaped correctly…..you can make a better one from a cheap dirt pick.
I bought a flat bar stock of tool steel, it has almost 1mm thick mill scale, i soaked in the vinegar for 2 days and it still has lots of scale left
Nice little blade
Love it
That knife is 🔥!! Love it
You hit that Mom n law jackpot. Super cool! Tell her hello!😊
What is the steel? cool knife
He build it out of toothpicks 😂😂
It's coat hangers, not toothpicks. Duhhhh
We need a filter for the filter !!
my mother in-law just gives me jesus cards and says weird shit all the time…. thanks for putting this guy on my radar, that knife looks awesome.
Is she still married...I finks I might love her..😅
Very nice!
Cool blade😎
Na...
Do you have really large hands or is this the mini seax?
It's the mini seax, roughly 6.5" long.
I like that a lot. That's awesome. Every time someone gifts me a new knife, it's a pos
Right? I would have said don't bother, but it's really great.
@dw0r let us know how it holds an edge
Dudes got the worlds best mother in-law ever!!
I can't deny that she's great, but let's not give her an ego. 🤣🤣
I will always love the flat of the blade being rough or beaten
Definitely. IMO, it makes it look like it's actually hand made, and not just from some factory. This is a beautiful knife.
Dale unas monedas. Para que no sea un regalo. Los cuchillos como regalo "cortan" la amistad. 🤡🤡🤡
Your mom in law knows knives!?😱
She knows a thing or two about a thing or two for sure.
@ 😂❤️
Looks cast
It's definitely forged.
I'm always slightly dubious when presented with a knife as a gift... like does this have an ulterior motive?
Well back in the day gifting someone a knife was actually a very honorary gesture
Obviously she knows he’s into knives and wanted to do something special and nailed it the knife is beautiful
Try cutting lower gauge metals than some metal sheets that any cutter can cut
Not me watching this while im plastic fiting is dripping 😅
No lube. No heat. Massive wrench. Well done.
😅
Did you spray any penetrating oil on that?
Looks like a structural issue...no?
This specific crack technically yes, I've been measuring it over 10 years and it has moved approximately 1/128" - 1/64" Which worries me, but is low on the priorities. I believe there is technically a spring well underneath the corner of the house, but I dug out and installed a drainage system to manage it and I THINK it's fully stabilized now, but I'll likely be dead before it causes any issues either way.
@dw0r my house has a 1.5cm crack near a T joint in my foundation...guess I am fucked or? It's 32 years old
Do you like them ?
I do! The thumb release mechanism is honestly a game changer over the old WISS style. Also the hand grip having a U on the bottom finger makes it more quickly steerable and less stick in weird situations.
@ awesome thanks
I have at least 20 pair amd im always short
Get busy tacking
Try spot welding when you get it close she won't need as many clamps just not as fast
Moral of the story just slowly accumulate 100s of clamps
And… never hire a help that is obese. Minimal effort and laziness 👍✌️😂😂
Tacks can do wonders Also your way off code with the picket spacing hope you are putting something in between.
There's a bunch of custom bendwork going in the centers, I've just got to design it first.
😂😂
Can you make some?
Finish job, invest portion of profits in more clamps.
Do you even clamp 🗜️. bro?
Harbor freight dollar clamps cut grove in them for round rod so they dont slip 👍
yup was about to say china freight
Nice project
Looks great, go for it.
I heard clients the first time 😂😂😂😂😂
