the beginning of the track sounds like beginning of "U2 - Ordinary Love"
genius
What’s that song the second thing you played bro?
You mean in the intro? Slow dancing in a burning room - John Mayer
Love it ❤
That is lovely! Makes me wanna turn on me Fantom too.
The problem is...If I turn it on, I´m gone for like 4 hours 😃
@@iambrufio LOL just turned it off now 2 hrs later. My ADHD and ASD gets in my way sometimes🤣
i strongly recommend every guitarist, especially those who use a floating trem to learn how to do FULL set ups themselves, even a bit of fret work. yes, i have guitars that i don't bond with but at least they don't ping, go out of tune or have problems i cannot identify. it will take awhile, pick an old guitar, maybe a mexican strat and learn to set it up. i strongly recommend starting here for trem set up ruclips.net/video/OUkKZy8U_gA/видео.html the information is out the for everything else, you will run into some crazy stuff like Carl Verheyen's angled claw thing... and many others, try them, they work for some. Strat's if set up well shouldn't go out of tune even with a floating bridge. My floating strats stay in better tune than my hardtail guitars. The greatest thing about a floating trem is when you properly balance string tension with spring tension all you have to do is wiggle the trem and you are back in tune (also taking into consideration the many other variables, nut, saddles/intonation/action/relief, fret job etc...) I'm saying this too because my Silver Sky is my number one as well and I have 5 other strats that I jump back and forth between depending on sound or feel. though I made some mod's I added a Wudton Bridge (look up how their PRS mod's change literal volume and connection with the guitar) which was an invasive mod because I had to fill the screw holes and drill new ones. My point is, there is no reason any guitar should not function correctly; (buzzing, pings, going out of tune etc) that is user error. UNLESS the guitar itself was built improperly and that is when a luthier will be able to help. learning an in depth set up will save you a lot of money and help you get the performance you want. next step is learning to solder.
Just accept that the SE is better than the US version. Don't let country/price influence you.
The SE is better then the USA Rosewood as I am saying in the video. The Maple USA version is amazing though so I kept both
I love mine, going to install an LR Baggs Hi FibDuet in it.
whats the difference between that and the anthem?
@ they both have piezo and microphone, I believe. I like the Hi Fi Duet microphone because it sounds more like the guitar. However, this is subjective, the Anthem is a wonderful pickup also.
will check it out for sure!
I would love one of these without the electric parts, and with fret inlays
the OO-18 got fret inlays
@@iambrufiooh really? I didn't notice them. It's got great sound, and I like how small it is.
i love this guitar! thinking about getting one for myself
you should!! it‘s amazing
Congratulations! Use it in good health!
Thanks! Played it tonight for two hours… Guitar heaven 🎸🤩
YOU ARE DOING GOOD JOB
Great story. I appreciate your perspective of how you see your guitar, “the white wanting to break out”.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is awesome
Thanks!
Fantastic sounds, I think I need one of these!
Thanks! And yes, I also think you need one 🎸
@@iambrufio TY, we'll I've been so focused on humbucker guitars and tele's, and tried P90, which i like but too much feedback, so time to circle back to strat type that i tried years ago. Such a sweet tone. Though i've never seen myself as a strat girl.
@@skye7690 we evolve over time. Maybe I will be a Les Paul guy in my 60´s. Who knows 😃
I want to give one a try because it can have a role as my travel guitar. My 63’ Custom Shop Strat is amazing though, I can’t knock it out of tune even if I tried. I got lucky with that one
The SE is the perfect Backup guitar, the USA can be a main. If you have small gigs the SE does the job perfect even as the main one. Happy that you found a nice CS. Maybe one day I find my surf green too 😅
@@iambrufioI am actually waiting for a DGT se I ordered to come in today. I have a PRS McCarty 594 core model and its pretty nice but like you I am a strat guy. Was always curious on how good those Silver Sky guitars can actually be. I think I might go to a guitar shop later today and if I bond with it I will buy one today. Do you think its worth the extra $ to go with the USA made Silver Sky?. Btw thanks for the video it was really good, got yourself a new subscriber🤘🎸
@@ggreloaded5269 Thanks! For the rosewoods I would go with the SE because of the sticky neck on the USA. But the maple wins overall. It feels amazing and is little more hifi. But the SE hast this rawness. I would suggest get both 😉
@ Haha thanks man! I might just do that and give that strat a rest. Ive had it since 2012 and its been played to death lol
Thanks
I feel the same, i have had my Dragonfruit PRS SS SE since they came out, have played it so much, i love it, it is one of my go to guitars i have
Great video production in a beautiful studio. Profiles sound excellent. So what Profiling tricks did you discover to create the final Profiles?
Thanks so much, glad you like them! To be honest, I just profiled them the way I record them every day. So glad I did 😃 My night sessions are more fun now for sure 🎸
Very nice sir from india❤
Neck too bulky for me ...I'll stick with modern c or the deep c
Nice if you know exactly what you need and want
Thanks for sharing your strat journey and all the SS you got there! I own a MIM strat and tried the SS SE a few times. Thought the neck was unfamiliar and maybe I’ll stick to my MIM. But as you said, there’re so many problems to the fender like buzzing and tuning and they’re always there. I’ll seriously reconsider grabbing the SS SE as my next strat. Thanks!
Proud of you and your development ❤
Very interesting video ! I bought a Krauster 2 because of you 😂….and tried the SE NF3 because I love the fuck of a strat but sold every model I had . Maybe will try the Silver sky (US ans SE ) 😅. Love your channel and videos 🙏🥰. Cheers from France
Damn, that means the world to me. Thanks so much!
We’re the frets pretty level ?
for all three, yes.
Thanks man!! This was the video I really really needed! I'm at the point in my 20+y playing guitar I'm about to buy my very first start! Been researching for months. Was even contemplating telecaster. (which still isn't ruled out haha). But because of this video my very next guitar will be a silver sky!!!!
Glad you liked it! I have to say, it gets better every day and I also realllllllly enjoy the maple USA!
@@iambrufio I don't know but there's something about the sound of a maple neck! Your video actually made me hear it really good for the first time! so the other day i went hardcore balls deep into the rabbit hole and i discovered that everyone is wrong about Knopfler's '61 strat. I.e. that it WAS a MAPLE neck and NOT a ROSEWOOD! On the recording of Sultans of swing!!! 🤯🤯 So that moment i knew it. I'm freakin' buying a PRS SE Silver Sky with a freakin' maple neck! What a video can do?!?! Thanks again brother!🤜🤛🤘
@@6raj66 thats awesome, brother
Hi! Great vid! How did you make the input signal level of the guitar 'pretty much the same' as the recorded volume when in 'sampling' mode? No matter what I do, my signals always seems hotter when recording, but the play back of the recording is very quiet! I don't want to have to 'normalize' during a live performance!?
Thanks! To be honest, I didn´t do much there but you can try to set your instruments level always the same and then use the mixer and raise the fader up to a point that you always know it sounds loud enough and leave it there as a template session. I guess because I record everything through a mixer and then go into the maschine, it works for all instruments connected the same and is already mixed.
I feel the same way! When I first went to check out to silver sky SE I was hoping it would be pretty decent but was blown away. I’ve had mine for a year and play it every day even though on paper it shouldn’t be as good as the other guitars I have. Every strat lover should get one. Amazing quality and so fun to play.
As a Lefty, I literally just go to have the same experience a few weeks ago. PRS finally made a Silver Sky in an SE model, so I bought the lightest one in the color I wanted on Sweetwater and...OMG! I've now sold one of my Fender Custom Shop Strats and can't stop playing the Silver Sky SE. I've never had this experience with a sub $1000 guitar, not even older Fender American Standards (or American Professionals for that matter at a slightly higher price point). I'm a complete convert, shockingly, for all the same reasons you state here. The Silver Sky is inspiring and leaves me not wanting for anything while playing in all pickup positions. Unreal!
Its sooooo crazy right? The maple usa is now what I am really used to. The neck there is soooo smooth. The SE though is as amazing but just sounds more rocky and not as hifi which is also perfect. I love them both 🙌🏼
Ya I have a USA maple but also have a rosewood SE .. great both and both more popular to my hands than any of my strats …
what's the correlation between 20Hz - 20KHz and Frequency range 50Hz - 10 KHz?
Thank you, Great Video! Love your templates!
Glad you like them!
Choosing between the Silver sky SE and the new Fender player 2 strat. Not sure which one to go with. Like the looks of the prs
i would order both and send one back
@ hi , Thanks for the reply. Prayed them both in store and went with player 2. Like the neck better than the prs.
the tone is so full and sparkles up just the right amount 😍
Ist das nur für Cubase oder auch für andere Daw‘s ?
Stand jetzt ist das Template speziell für Cubase. Das Prinzip kann aber für alle anderen DAWs übertragen werden.
Pretty much the same story as me, had a JM sig strat as my main guitar for 8 years and just bonded with it, kept telling myself i dont like the silver sky, dont like prs etc. Back in july bought a roxy pink silver sky and just cant put it down its so playable, jm strat is now in second place and a load of other guitars just gathering dust.
Roxy Pink is 🫶🏼
Thank you for sharing your time and gifts .sounds great .
you‘re welcome
From experience the Core rosewood sounds like the SE maple.
interesting, the SE Maple is now the only one I did not try
Nice. Same for me. Had a few strats, all selled. One silver sky, what a keeper. You have to love the passion mayer and smith put on this guitar. Its the better strat, new century, no old errors, pure. Great. Just look how they designd every part on this guitar nuee and just for that.
even the strap locks...you don´t have to change them after you bought the guitar 😃
Nice, vielen Dank für das Template :)

Which plugin gets faster latency? I'm looking to remove reverb live for Ableton.
waves 2048 (for 44.1 or 48khz), izotope I am not sure. Best you check the product sites or use a demoversion of each so you can test it in your environment (cpu power of your computer, ableton etc.).
What Monitors are you using?

Paid $640 US For mine( Dragon Fruit) 2-years ago and still can’t put it down.
takes 45 seconds to cut and delete silence on a whole track
add that up with a 200 track mix session
mixing movie audio is different than music
@@clocks8137 jep, I mean a 200 Track SONG Session, which is nothing special today.
But the noise still exist under the tracks in the rapping part. In my opinion, you better use waves vx clarity or UAD CVox to remove the background noise just with one button. Although these plugins destroy the tracks a little bit, for backing vocals are totally ok 👍 😊. However, if the main vocal got this problem, re-record is a must. Otherwise you can not be a pro.😁
I use c-vox as well 🙂 but this video is about cleaning the „silent“ parts. The stems in this are extrem examples. And as I said, they send it over and you have to make the most out of it
Have you tried revoice pro or at least repitch? What do you think of it as compared to Melodyne?
They are all good, but Im most used to melodyne. The important thing is that you know your tools in and out and thats how I could find out that vari audio for example is not enough for me
Yep!! Huge problem in my mixes. Thank you
Thanks man, very useful . I will try this tomorrow.
can i get the guitar tab? thX
played it by ear, sry
Awesome 👏
Such a labour of love and passion! Nice video man Sweet studio setup.
