Pastor Vinnie of Mission for the Homeless
2025? I knew it was important for me to attend yesterdays service. Thank you. Sharing this with friends.
Whoops! Thank you Linda! It's fixed now.
I admire his heart to help. But I think the best way to help homeless people would be by getting them to help themselves, clean up their own lives, get jobs, get their own housing, and teach them to be more responsible for themselves. This ministry smells like codependency to me, rather than helping people to get back up on their own feet and act like responsible adults.
BEAUTIFUL. 🙏💚
The life vinnie has chosen truly is inspiring. Thank God for him
God bless y'all ❤
Great sermon, +Rev Scott! I did all the lectionary readings for this yesterday, and your words really resonate! Miss you! Leslie Watson-Hollinsead
Glad to see pastor Vinnie is doing good May Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you
The Berbers were Not Fair skinned, the original ones were “Black” Africans, just like the Moors. Who were never subservient to Arabs until they were abdicated. Btw No European is the “Father or Mother”, of anything regarding Original people. Not possible!
Original ones what does that even mean
Well said! I am much along the same path.
This is hilarious!!! Wish I could post a picture of Sammy in return!!
Danke Danke. This sermon was so reaffirming and addressed so many of my problems this week. First God’s law. 3/5 Holy Trinity over the angels Satan counted twice. Thus slaves were counted as a child of God. It’s Fibonacci. The birth of reason. “Four score and 7 years…” this is again in reference to Pythagoras. 4 angels Satan counted twice. 4^2=16, 1 + 6 = 7 laws of heaven. Golden Ratio and King James 1 and 6. Then there’s the Moabites I believe who glorified slavery post “freedom.” These concepts are so oxymoronic. It’s comical because I am a believer of the truth or at least attempt towards discovery based in fact. Trying to navigate my Anglican order in a highly disordered world. I am bound by the truth others not so much. But that’s sacramental. “The Fable of the Bee’s;” Sacramento Bee; Fake news; US Constitutional provisions. It’s so highly comical. King James being my grandpa. Thus I am also so cognitively linguistically different. There are two you’s. Sacramento- sacramental… So grateful for St John’s and Rev Denman thank you so much. What great teaching.
Also the pyramids they were mapped by the stars. Heaven… there’s a lot of information in the constitution.

Great lecture. I feel so spoiled. Thank you so much. Cursing, a curse; God’s curse. A lineage Adam and Eve. Cain and Abel. Adam being the chosen one. Fibonacci the laws of nature. Psalms and Numbers. King James Allan Bible. 3/5 Satan counted twice. It’s in the US Constitution obviously. The sin is lying. Thank you so much. Sex is irrelevant.
Thank you. H20. Been thinking and Methodism (Methodist) - Solid liquid gas. Studying biblical science. Or just science in general. Thanks again.

How precious. Much love. My grandson
Very interesting information on early Black History in California. Thanks for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it. Jesse is pretty amazing!
Wonderful. Thank you so much Sara, for your spiritual presentation. It was wonderful.

Yay science!
Congratulations, Scott. I enjoyed hearing your stories.
Thanks for listening
Fantastic interview and congratulations Scott. Xxx
Great interview!
"Systemic racism might be defined as a form of oppression, supported by silence and inaction. . . .I don't want to be an observer, shaking my head. . but the level of my passion for doing something will equal the depth of MY self-examination." ~This was a key point.
I love the story about changing the "White Jesus" at St. Augustine.
Thanks to the (Somewhat) Rev. Scott Denman for lifting up our desire to get #PPEForAll Riders and Drivers!
Thank you, Mary. This is really helpful!
Thank you for highlighting Rev. Toy's personal and clergical history. She is a pioneer in more ways than one!!
Thanks so much, Scott and Krista. It was great seeing you two and eavesdropping on this conversation!
Thanks for doing this series and so glad to hear from Rev. Kathleen!
Another great reflection. Thank you both. My spirits are lifted on this low Sunday. Very much looking forward to the Stations of Resurrection series, as I have been pondering when and how resurrection has happened in me throughout my life. It turns out that to find those moments I have to first notice and recall the losses and deaths. The resurrections from those deaths have not necessarily happened immediately. Sometimes there's been a long gap between the loss and the resurrection. Love what you all said about Thomas. Thanks again.
Yo yo yo! Hello from Basel Switzerland! Good to see you two are still out helping people ❤️ much love Erin
I loved this Ben, thanks!
Love the conversation around the evangelical nature of the time we’re in. Creative thought , based on abundance.
Thanks for doing this! What a powerful story.
So nice to see and hear from Mark Richardson. Glad to hear someone articulate the idea of "reductionist intellectual fundamentalism." I've observed this tendency in many of my bright and dear friends, and now I have the words for it... I loved the fish tale. Thanks for that... Also for the thought that, yes, there is always an absence in our spiritual lives as well as that welcome presence.
Thanks for this!
Loved this, John. Thank you. I'd like to add that for me, a key word in the Palm Sunday Gospel reading is "Hosanna!" which as a child I thought just meant "Hurray!" or "Yay!" But that was not correct. Hosannah means something more like "HELP!! SAVE us!" Our English translations do not reflect the urgency of that cry. It it is hitting me more viscerally this time around, as I am aware of my own vulnerability and just beginning to sense the deep injury to our customary ways of being in society and even as church that this virus has dealt us. We have been forced to feel our neediness - both individually and our need for one another and for healthcare structures and food supply -- for everything that sustains life. So now more than ever, I long for Easter. I wonder if I am open to learning something new about what resurrection means. What kind of help does Jesus actually give on Easter? Etymology: Old English, via late Latin from Greek hōsanna, from Rabbinical Hebrew hōša‘nā, abbreviation of biblical hōšī‘ā-nnā ‘save, we pray’ (Ps. 118:25).
Great job, Keller.
