    f5 to quicksave don't need to save scum too much unless you party wipe or make a permanent big decision, roll with the punches, this game is built to allow for failure and has unique fun paths from failed dialogues sometimes don't worry too much about min-maxxing the first time around, very early in the game you gain access to a re-spec for 100 gold (not that much), so you can reset your characters and re-do them whenever you feel like. Sorcerers use charisma to cast, not intellect. It's not a huge problem because you can re-spec if you like. You want your charisma to get to 20+ for better casting. Although generally the spellcasting modifiers only increase accuracy of spell attacks or make them harder to resist, you get extra damage via magic items and higher spell levels

    • @Dintak3
      @Dintak3 4 часа назад

      Good tip about quicksave Agreed, those are the times I intend to save scum, or if I want to see all possible outcomes from dialogues like I did in the tutorial Re-spec for 100 gold seems good I see, so higher stat means better accuracy, not better damage, which can only be acquired from magic items and stronger spells. I'll need to figure out if crowd control or damage is better for this type of playstyle

    • @Jacob-fz5ho
      @Jacob-fz5ho 17 минут назад

      @@Dintak3 the stats thing is general not true in all cases. there are some cases where higher stats results in higher damage output as well, such as for warlocks or martial classes (Strength/Dex) or with certain items/feats. Sorcerers usually increase their damage by using sorcery points (similar to spell slots, returns on rests) to quicken, twin (duplicate) and maximize spells, and by having good magic items. That's why I said a solo sorcerer run will involve lots of resting, they are very spell slot hungry Also, one good tip for sorcerers is to get your enemies wet. It makes them vulnerable to cold/electric damage (they take double damage) but resistant to fire. This can be done by throwing barrels or containers of water at the enemy or pushing them into bodies of water. Keep an eye out for anything that increases damage of magic missiles as well, that's a very powerful sorcerer build. There's a handful of items that do this.

It'll make sense later on and you'll get plenty along the way. * Focus on doing the quests and completing the star map. * Try to get your hands on decent weapons to carry you. Either from the market (using credits) or a dojo. * Join a clan/dojo to mentor you. The community loves to help out new players. * Get yourself a companion with a mod called Vacuum (for technical companions) or Fetch (for pets). It'll make looting easier. * Practice movement and bullet jumps ect. In missions or in your orbiter. (Your bullet jump always gets you in the direction you directly look at.) * Dodging helps to avoid getting hit. So always move. (Volt wants to run fast.) Enjoy your stay and you'll be a master in no time. Cheers!

    With those bane mods, they multiply your final damage, meaning they don´t use the base stats of your weapon, but the total modded amount you have. With elemental mods like heat, you also deal more damage to health, this get´s multiplied with those faction mods again. There are also some interesting elemental combinations, with heat and toxin you create gas clouds, which essentially make weapons deal radial damage on status effect. And for your warframe; volt really likes Duration and Range for his abilities. So upgrade those mods if you decide to be more mage-like. Energy and efficiency allow for more spamming. Oh and if you wonder about anything, hovering the stats in the upgrades tells you what exactly they do. Same with recources, tells you where to get them too. For the market; But essentially all Guns and Warframes have Blueprints you can buy in the market, you see it when you select in there and it tells you what you need for the blueprint to build it. If you can´t find a blueprint, you somehow get it through other gameplay-means. Anything that´s Plat-Only is cosmetic and non-gameplay related. For trading, you can sell mods and Parts for weapons, and certain recources with other players. That´s a way to get to platinum without spending money yourself on the game. I´d recommend not to aim for that right now though, but if so you´ll want to use your platinum for Weapon slots and Warframe slots, you get them by playing too but it´s a lot less common. Some things that sell well are Prime parts in void missions, and you could play bounties to sell rare mods while unlocking usefull things for later. But you are still at the tutorial pretty much, that´s a bit further ahead. Recommend plaiyng public/with people to get that done more efficiently IF You decide to do so. There is a lot to do otherwise. Finally; the game totally deserves your money, but do wait for a discount if you do so. they throw them to you with daily logins like once a week.

    • @Dintak3
      @Dintak3 3 дня назад

      You're right, in that case, it seems like a good idea to get a bunch of modded damage and then apply the bane and elemental mod for the multiplicative boost Wow, lots to experiment with elemental combinations, I look forward to that Duration, range, energy, and efficiency seem like a good idea for my type of playstyle I'm glad stats and resources are explained by simply hovering over them, I'll be using that a lot Cool that it's possible to buy blueprints through the market. I'm hoping to collect lots of those. I'm not into cosmetics so I'll avoid spending platinum probably It's cool that you can sell stuff to other players for platinum, I wonder if it's possible to do that through a marketplace instead of meeting people and trading them Agreed, I don't plan on doing that right now. Slots seem like a good way to spend platinum That seems way ahead haha. Agreed, seems like playing with others will speed up void missions I can definitely see why the game deserves the money, lots still play it which says a lot

    The bane mods are better than what they look like (although still annoying to use sometimes). Math time : Let's say your weapon does 100 damage. Ignore the impact / puncture / slash for now. Serration is +15% base damage. So it's now 115 damage. Simple Elemental mods (convulsion for example) is another 15% but this one is not base damage. This is extra. So 115 base damage + 17.25 (15%) lightning. If you add more elemental, it will add to this extra. So for example, another 15% would be 30% (34.5). Bane multiplies this 132 total damage by it's value (1.05 at rank 0). Basically they are terrible early on but they are very good as the final mod you can add. For now though, Just add elemental damage, base damage and critical chance and critical damage if the weapon has a crit chance of at least 20%. Status is another can of worm you don't have to worry about. You can combine two elements together for a new one. I'll let you explore this on your own but just know that the Magnetic element is terrible. I've played this game for 10 000 hours and I've used it maybe 10 times. Everything else is acceptable. Warframe mods are a different story. I suggest focusing on Shields, health, energy max and maybe some ability strength early on. You can craft crazy build once you have better mods. There's not really much you can do to get extra resources / loot early. There's a handful of frames that have abilities that drop more stuff like Nekros. There's a mod called Vacuum that you can equip on companions that let's you grab loot from further away. You will eventually get a blueprint to craft a companion as you unlock planets.

    • @Dintak3
      @Dintak3 3 дня назад

      I think that makes sense, I love math! From my understanding, the 15% is additive, while bane is multiplicative. So after accumulating a bunch of additive mods, it makes sense why a multiplicative mod at the end would result in a higher number than another additive mod I'm hoping there are training dummies, or something I can see numbers when I hit with my weapon as that way the game calculates the damage for me instead of having to do it manually haha Combining elements sounds fun, will try to explore every possibly with it. I know you said Magnetic is terrible, but I'll still try it just to see haha. And wow, 10 000 hours, that's impressive, I appreciate you offering your advice! Shields, health, and energy seem like a good idea to focus on. I'll test some stuff on my own first just for the learning experience The Vacuum and companions sound amazing, I look forward to get them!

    • @PhoenixXIII
      @PhoenixXIII 3 дня назад

      Also weapons aren't always necessarily upgrades. The reason you would want to get new ones is for the variety and mostly because ranking up weapons gives you experience towards your account which increases your mastery rank. You are still leveling up your weapons so it's fine for now but once they reach rank 30, your account is no longer progressing so to speak. Credits are very easy to find. Don't worry about spending it too much. Also the shops show you the item price as platinum initially but if you click on it, it will open up a window with more info on the item and (usually) a blueprint version that costs credits. Although you will have to use resources to craft it. Crafting takes time, so don't take too long to start crafting a new weapon or two. Platinum just skips the crafting part but it's never worth it. DO NOT ever buy modpacks or endo. I really wish they would just remove them from the shop. It's basically a scam. The marketplace is not where you sell stuff. You can access your inventory and sell stuff you really don't need for credits or certain things can be traded with other players for platinum (like some weapons parts / blueprint or mods). Although you won't have much of anything to trade for a little while probably. And yeah. 150$ is a lot but after i've spent thousands of hours in this game without spending a dime, It's more because I wanted to support them than anything. The cosmetic itself wasn't the main reason. I basically see it as a "thank you". I spent like 400$ on this game, which sounds like a lot but I've played it on and off for 8 years.

    Ok so a few things i would like you to know. In the Market you can get the blueprints for all kinds of different weapons, i suggest getting some and starting to craft them as soon as possible. You will see that you can either buy stuff like that and use it immediately for platinum (which you should never do) or get the blueprint for credits and craft them with materials you find on missions, this is how this games monetization works and that is what people meant by saying the market is a scam. Basically everything you can see in there that alters gameplay (so everything thats not a skin) can (and should) be acquired through gameplay alone. Platinum is usually spent in trades between players for more rare things like rare mods. Someone already commented on upgrades so i won't be saying a lot there, other then that its always better to have good mods (like DMG mods) upgraded instead of using multiple different kinds of mods. The fluidity of the movement and how good it feels is one of the main appeals of the game. once you have mastered movement, the speed at which you can zoom through levels is quite frankly ridiculous, its just so much fun. You said you were more of a strategic player than a mechanical one, which is very clear by the way you play, warframe is not a very strategical game though. Sure early spy missions and later modding are somewhat strategical, but you will spend most of your time bulletjumping , shooting and casting abilities, not necessarily strategizing how to take down enemies and whatnot. Oh and one last thing. Getting into this game can be very rough as a lot of things are explained very poorly by the game (although im surprised how much the beginning has changed since i started playing xD) if you want to know anything, feel free to ask, if you like to even in the game's regional chat. Warframe has one of the most nice and supportive communities in gaming, something you should absolutely take advantage of. Sorry if you are feeling overwhelmed by all the advice you get, as well as the game itself its alot to take in, we have all been there, that may be one of the biggest hurdles to overcome before one can really appreciate how good this free game actually is.

    • @Dintak3
      @Dintak3 8 дней назад

      I'll be sure to checkout the market, hopefully I can sell stuff and make some cash as well. Will make sure to conserve the platinum So damage mods are best, makes sense. I'll try out all types and see what suits me Agreed, the movement of the game is very unique. It's cool that one can breeze past levels if movement is mastered That's too bad that most of is not strategical, hopefully I can overcome it's challanges Seems like the older version of Warframe was harder to understand and now they've made things easier, I appreciate that. I'll be sure to ask for help if needed, the community does seem friendly Thanks for all the advice! I didn't find it overwhelming yet, I've been noting down advice and applying it to future parts

    So you're completely fine with wanting to run! As an early game play you're doing the right thing by collecting resources. Bullet-Jumping is more so for easy traversal over large distances. As for modding, clicking ''Upgrade'' on your Warframe & Weapons will open the menu for equipping mods. Mods are what make you stronger and whilst there are a lot of them, you'll always be able to see what they do since hovering over the left side of the screen will always tell you which stats have been buffed [ Green ] and what has been reduced [ Red ] You'll soon find out how to level Mods up, further increasing their efficiency but that'll come later since you'll need Endo & Credits [ resources you gain by completing missions ] As for the star chart, every planet consists of serval nodes: Currently a lot of yours are locked, nodes will glow blue when you have yet to complete them and upon completion will unlock the next node. At the end of each planet you'll be faced with a Junction, this unlocks the next planet and is a Baby Tennos primary goal, its best to follow the requirements needed for each Junction to help grasp the game early on. I hope you're enjoying your time so far! And since you're wanting to play solo- Top left, right where your username is there should be a globe icon, hover over that and select solo mode. Do not forget to check your settings Menu! There's a search bar with lots of accessibility features should you need them. Sorry for the long comment but I hope this stuff helps o7

      @@Dintak3 Until way later into the game, you don't really have to grind endo or credit, it just drops in missions. The grind is more about finding parts and blueprints for weapons or frames. Certain specific missions (called void fissures) really incentivize you to play with others but you can complete most of the game solo. One piece of advice is also to just build and level up frames and weapons and try new things. This is to upgrade your account level (mastery rank). and trying new stuff is fun. The marketplace has blueprints for weapons for credits. Warframes comes from quests or bosses (in multiple parts you need to build). Joining a clan is also incentivized (or you can be like me and just build one for only yourself but this is a crazy grind). You can get new weapons and frames there and other useful (almost mandatory things). You can destroy cameras and rolling (tapping sprint twice) can get you through the lasers (rolling causes you to take less damage and prevent knock downs). Eventually, you might need to start using your abilities. Basic weapons can only do so much. Levels are a bit weird in this game where your level and the one of the enemy really don't match up. Even if your frame was rank 30 (max) but if you have little to no mods, you wouldn't be that much stronger. It's all about modding, levels just allows you to put more mods in and improves your abilities for frames. It's not like a traditional RPG. If you mod just a bit, you can fight lvl 15 enemies just fight right now.

      @@Dintak3 Void fissures is the way you obtain Prime items, which are better version of weapons and warframes. Although, for the frames, they're only slightly better. They also look cooler though. You can sell Prime parts to other players for Platinum. You have limited space for weapons and frames so deleting weapons you don't want to use once you have maxxed out their levels BUT a decent amount of secondary weapons have a dual wield version that requires you to build two of them. Don't delete them before looking if they have a "Akimbo" version. I made this mistake early and had to craft a bunch of stuff again. The MK1 version of weapons can be bought directly for credit in the marketplace. Those are all terrible. But they do gives you account XP. And yes, account XP is very important. A lot of things are locked with your Mastery Rank and it makes modding easier as it gives you minimum modding capacity per rank (At rank 1, a rank 0 weapon would still have 1 capacity). Using a specific weapon or your warframes abilities to kill enemies will grant more affinity (XP) to that weapon / frame. Stealth kills gives a LOT of bonus XP.
