This was probably Logan’s lowest moment. … This might be my daddy-issues talking but with some therapy I think this can be fixed. Logan was really low mentally in this moment. He was trying to “live it up” before his time was up. But drinking is not the way to do that because it’s a depressant, so instead of making him all happy and forgetful of his troubles (like he probably wanted) it just made him angrier and more upset overall. Plus he felt threatened by Jess (I mean who wouldn’t? It’s Jess. He’s awesome) Besides this moment, Logan is a generally good guy. He’s supportive of Rory, he’s willing to compromise for her, and he pushes her out of her comfort zone so she doesn’t just take the easy route. For the most part, he was really good for her! He stopped doing a lot of this stuff when he got the news that he had to join the company soon. He stopped pushing her out of her comfort zone to have adventure. He stopped compromising for her. He stopped being good for her. I really like Logan as a character because he’s a good kid, but he has low moments like everyone. Most of the time he’s good to her, and the times he’s not are the exception. … DEAN on the other hand- Oh my god Every. Tiny. Conflict. Was worth a major argument. He psychologically damaged this poor girl because after Dean, Rory became MAJORLY afraid of conflict. Because he would throw a temper tantrum about every tiny thing. And don’t even get me STARTED on the episode where Rory wanted to be alone for the night, and he goes to her house KNOWING this. After throwing a fit about her wanting to be by herself. Also he got upset that she was busy trying to get into Harvard. Like-dude. Sorry she didn’t wanna marry straight out of high school. Which your wife did (probably for you) and you still cheated on her! Dean was a dick to her most of the time, and was nice SOMETIMES! My BIGGEST beef with Lorelai is that Dean was her favorite out of Rory’s boyfriends when he was so emotionally abusive towards her. Anyway I love how this show writes romance. Because they don’t glorify it. The show what it looks like pretty realistically for the most part.

Also Rory was an idiot and I feel bad for Jess all he was trying to do was meet up and catch up like dang what an idiot is he. And I just want Lorelei and Rory to get back to normal, come lor set that wedding date with Luke. It was destined L+L! ( no problem I just needed a little Gilmore girls vent!)

in my opinion, he had every right to lash out on rory. in this part of rorys life she really deflected her problems onto other people & expected them to be solved for her. and in MY opinion, she was never really emotionally over jess or dean, i mean considering how attached she was to dean i can only imagine how attached she was to jess ESPECIALLY after seeing him after so long, that definitely had to bring up some unwanted feelings she still had for him. at the end of the day, logan had every right.

I will never get over the shock of the person Rory became. Found this show as an adult so I related more to Lorelai from the get-go but I remember going on with the show and getting so disgusted by Rory‘s behavior and actions.

I’m team Jess. He never yelled at Rory like that and he never talked down to her. Dean always talked down to her after he yelled like she wasn’t smart. Logan was just a butt. Jess didn’t do any of that.

Honestly it was Rory's fault. She was always ready to play victim card for her own faults. She always needed someone to blame. Logan truly cared for her. He never ever been in any relationship but chose to be in relationship just because he loved Rory. It was all her fault. Relationship is not a bed of roses. You need to work hard for it .... But if you always ready to blame your partner for your own bad decisions... It's not good at all. Jess , Dean , Logan .... All of them were good but Rory. It was her fault. And the character was full of vulnerability. PS- English isn't my native language.... Sorry for my bad English.
