The goat poked his head around the corner and said who you talking to…. The next one poked his head around and said, are you talking to me? third one poked his head around maybe he’s talking to me …..🤭😂🤣❤

Try rust converter next time. Gets rid of the rust without affecting the flatness of the table anymore than it already is.

One cannot rely on the assertion that if you pay a lot of money for a part you're getting a good quality part, however one CAN rely on the fact that if the part is very inexpensive, that it's probably junk. In this business as well as others, if the deal seems too good to be true, that it isn't true. I was glad to hear that you got your money back. As an aside it might be good to look at how you managed to lose the first shaft in the field and install something to prevent that from being able to happen. Perhaps some strap loop around it or ?? that if were to break loose somehow that you won't lose it. Professional mechanics will tell you they've pretty much stopped buying parts off Ebay and Amazon due to quality control issues. A lot of them won't do the work if the customer supplies those parts because they don't want to have to do the job again at their own expense or the bad blood that arises with the customer because they have to pay to do the job 2, 3 or more times.
Yeah I’ve learned my lesson, very expensive mistake, one I will definitely not make again. Thanks
You went through a dip with your tractor and the bush hog grounded, momentarily stalling the cutter and bending the shaft. You don't seem to have a pivot on the cutter. Had the same thing happen on my tractor, even with a floating mount.
That is the new shaft installed, I don’t have a recording of the old shaft.
I'd like to see you buy a bush hog for $400, these days! 😂😂😂 By the way, there are different ratings for different PTO shafts. Rural King has square ones that are stronger than the rectangular, lower grade ones. Some are for bush hogs. Some are for rototillers.
I’m my area used 4’ bush hogs regularly go for around 300 dollars used on Facebook marketplace. And the Amazon pto shaft was listed as rated for rotary cutters, but thanks for watching
@@Home-GrownHomestead Well, I suppose a 4 footer would be less. I was looking for a 4 or a 5 back in 2022, here in north Alabama. New ones were unGodly high, like $1600, if I remember correctly, and the cheapest used ones were around $900 to $1000. But God was on my side. He led me to a scrap yard where I found 2 pairs of perfectly good blades, just slightly used and enabled me to weld up the body of my dad's old one. It still works great. There was also a good, hardly used, 3 point hitch rake there which normally would cost hundreds of dollars. I bought it, too. I think sometimes, these days, that children come by their parents stuff, either by inheritance or theft, and having no desire to do any real work, they sell it to buy themselves some drugs. Otherwise, there wouldn't be all this good stuff in a scrapyard.
You can definitely find good stuff at scrap yards
Thank you for this
My pleasure!
I guess my question is why did you have to replace the whole shaft. Bearings and a new cross is readily available.
@@Xmilker-zb8ig the shaft itself was damaged. And if the shaft is made out of poor steel then I’m really not comfortable with using the yokes either.

Great info ty, just set 3 Rhode Island reds & 15 Death layers in the incubator about 10 days ago. Wish me luck is my 1st try
Hope you have a great hatch. Rhode Island reds is one of my favorite breeds, they are just good all around chickens. Thanks so much for commenting
Thanks, but not helpful. Your tips are all basic knowledge that everybody already knows about. Your tips are not "to better tomatoes". This is my 1st year at growing tomatoes and you are not telling me anything new.

I like the way your plum tree is shaped, I have almost a dozen each a different variety. What plum variety you have? Im gonna guess it's the Methley, Santa Rosa, or Burgundy based on you saying it's self pollinating and how loaded it is.
If memory serves me right, it’s a Santa Rosa. It has yellow flesh and the skins are red
Do you make jelly with yours or do you just eat them?
@@Home-GrownHomestead For now it's just for fresh eating, I haven't learned how to make jelly yet, because a peak ripe plum, especially a Santa Rosa plum is like no other. Yellow flesh and red skin definitely describes the santa rosa, but if you allow it to ripen more, it should be purple with red and yellow gradient flesh, and the flavor and juice is just phenomenal, even better than peaches in my opinion.
great vid ,
Thanks

Yep good stuff, I've actually used it on a busted radiator hose. I was broken down in the middle of rush hour traffic
That’s what I’m talking about, whatever gets you home.
BUY THE YELLOW INSIDE, NOT WHITE. IT HAS A HIGHER HEAT RATING, AND IS JUST BETTER.
I keep Duct Tape in my home -garage- operating room.
That works too
Electrical, duct, masking, scotch tape.
im laughing my ass off because, before you showed your finger I said, aloud, "makes a good bandage too"🤣🤣🤣
😂 I use it more for cuts than I do for electrical. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@Home-GrownHomestead i know, thats why I said "too"
Nice.
Poor goat 😢
That was uncalled for. And hardly funny.
It’s how they learn and it was kinda funny.
Thanks for commenting. We do everything to keep our animals safe from predation. We have predators in the area such as coyotes that would love a tasty meal of goat. The electric fence is there to keep them where they are safe. The electric shock is small, it does no harm to the animal. It is similar to a strong static shock. And this keeps the goats from eating the chicken feed which may have ingredients that are not for ruminates like goats. Thanks again

Great video. I am looking to purchase an old Ford 8N right now and it comes with the front loader, not attached, and at least four other attachments such as blade, tiller, cement, mixer, etc., etc. New to tractor so I’m not sure I want to get into one of the older ones without the modern technology, but love that they are cheap and easily worked on.
I do love the old tractors, they have a special place in my heart, but I would trade it all for a front loader😂. Seriously though I would suggest springing for the newer tractor with a loader. Thanks for watching and for commenting
