Cliff Run - Maine : An AVATA 2 Adventure

Animal is a story about an Alpha Male going to lengths to protect his family even if he has to resort to extremely violent measures, It is also a dad-son relationship story that touches your heart. DON Starring Amitabh, Zeenat, Pran, Iftekhar and many others started as a project to offer financial support to a broke Nariman Irani . Many actors did not even charge money to act in this blockbuster. Likely the only hit that director Chandra Barot had in his career. I consider it as one of Amitabh's finest performances of that time. This is my homage to an awesome story. Enjoy it!!!!

Couldn't understand how this movie flopped despite best heroes, best action, best story, best screen play. Probably compared with blockbuster Sholay Movie.
I know.. still boggles my mind. Maybe it was way ahead of its time.
Still this movie did a Silver Jubilee in Kolkata.
@@firstdayfirstshowproductio3489shaan was among top ten highest grossing films of 1980 .Still, the reason for its flopping were: 1Budget was staggeringly high. 2 It couldnot meet the expectations of the public at that time because they were expecting much much greater outcome compared to the one and only Sholay. 3 . Shaan was overshadowed by the huge blockbuster Qurbaani which after sholay (1975)and muqaddar ka sikander (1978)became the all time greatest blockbuster . But I went and watched it 7 times in cinema when it got released
