just admit it that you hate on HGSS 😂😂 so far your nr10 point was silly they changed lavander town and added a radio tower who cares that wont make the game instantly bad just because they changed one building, nr 9. voltorb flip is literally a cool minigame its a logical puzzle that is actually solveable, nr.8 its the best remake because compared to the original gen 2 it is way better way more beautiful graphics and it has following pokemon thats what made it a great game the following pokemon feature and because its on gen4 engine sure the game left lot of flaws in stil but it also fixed a lot, i mean literally oras remake removed the battle frontier what a letdown of course thats why its worse remake, but lets not focus on graphics alone, nr.7 day and night cycle is literally a very important feature of the game... just cause you dont like it doesnt mean its bad... it would be dumb to play a game where its constantly daytime, thats like saying omg you have catch rates and i cant just masterball every pokemon oh no what a shit game lol, nr.6 the eevee thing again just a minor annoyance but wont instantly make the game bad also you can breed for more eevee but yeah would be nice to have easier ways to obtain the eevee evolutions, nr.5 well HMs back then were supposed to be there just to make your teambuilding more difficult basically they tried to make players use certain mons to feel more like your teammates are valuable partners who can help you get across the land, make you love and bond with your pokemon more they were cathering towards kids of course as adults we wont be like omg i need my xyz to fly with, but back then HMs were a core common thing, nowadays they changed it which can be good and bad at same time, dont get me wrong i also hated HMs but back then pokerides werent a thing when we judge a game we have to consider the time and year when it came out, could they make hms less painful of course they couldve, but that doesnt mean the game is bad as all games around that era had HMs so pointless argument, they couldve just made it so certain pokemon can swim/surf after you got enough badges without the need to learn that move just an example, nr.4 the level gap thing was made on purpose they wanted to make RED to be this overpowered beast of a final boss, also im pretty sure you can gather a bunch of rare candies and if you didnt waste them in a silly way early on then you can easily boost up some pokemon levels at the end, also rematching the elite4 for exp grinding (been a while since i play hgss but im pretty sure you could rematch the e4?), nr. 3 again this is a gen2 issue, sure they couldve tried to give more gen2 mons to gym leaders but gen2 mons are basically garbage most of them (there are few good ones tho) and tons of baby shitmons, nr. 2 well this is one point where i agree with you that it was quite stupid to lock certain pokemons to post game especially one that supposed to be gen2 mon, nr. 1 literally just an issue with old games where they didnt shower you in exp while nowadays exp share too broken, balancing levels hard task especially for gamefreak i notice 😂 so that doesnt make this remake bad its just bad overall cause all pokemon games kinda suck at balancing the levels depending on your playstyle you either end up too underleveled or too overleveled, depends whether you explore every corner of the map or just rush through with minimal battles so overall this video is just a list of why YOU hate the game but the game at the time was a gem and even nowadays its better than some main games like x and y, x and y was cool to introduce megas and fairy type but thats all it did the story was very lame and unfinished game and never got its deserved 3rd game

A lot of these criticisms don't make sense. 1. It would be MORE boring if Lavender town was the same as gen 1. The fact that you get to see Kanto change over time is what makes the post game interesting. If everything was the same it would be worse 2. The Game Corner is always annoying but Voltorb Flip is the best version of the Game Corner. You can actually use some skill to win which makes it way better than the slot machines, which are just pure luck. 3. Kanto is a lot more fleshed out in this game compared to the originals, not sure what your complaint is. 4. Having events be linked to the time of day and day of the week is the whole point of the John games. It makes the world feel alive as there is always something different to do every day. And having a way to change the time of day in game would ruin the immersion from having the time in game reflect the time in real life. 5. You can just breed more Eevees? Eevee being limited hasn't been a problem since gen 1. 6. Yeah I agree, there are too many HMs. But that is something ported over from the original games. 7. Trust me, you do NOT want the elite 4 related to be under leveled like they are in the original. It makes leveling up pokemon to evolve take forever. Having the higher levels is a massive improvement. 8. Yeah, John has a lot of Kanto pokemon in general. This is something they should have changed. 9. It's a good thing that you still discover new pokemon in the post game. 10. The level balancing isn't bad, just different than the other games. The levels of the last gym leader and elite 4 are lower than the other games, but it is still in line at the levels that your pokemon are. Out of all of your points, only 2 are even kinda correct.

HUGE issue with the wording. Saying they aren't good games is a bold statement because even with objective criticism what's good or bad cannot be objectively determined, in fact most of your points are completely subjective and I can't see why should a lot of people not like these games due to those flaws. They are like whatever. "What I don't like about HGSS" would be a better title imo, but ofc it's the internet everything has to be hyperbolized

Perfection is an illusion and there's no such thing. HGSS is way better than XY and USUM either way and are some of the best remakes ever made
