Wow... great quality on the upload. I totally forgot that the old Maple Leaf Gardens game clock gave an extra second because it always lagged on 0:00.1 before the horn went off. Always intrigued me that they never got that corrected. The ACC clock never did that. Not like it made a difference though. Oh, and Bob Cole and Harry Neale. How were we so spoiled to have this kind of quality of commentary in this era of hockey?

Given the fact of all the distractions off the ice. The Penguins had filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in October 1998, due to previous owners Howard Baldwin and Roger Marino running up so much debt. There was the relocation threat of Portland Oregon or the team folding completely. Had they lost this game, who knows. Ultimately they won the series and Mario bought the team four months later.
