nice video :^D it is cool to see this topic discussed at all, I would not mind more elaboration on similar topics in the future. I like that you included links to all the sources and credited the people who read the different excerpts. everything is nice and cozy and feels appropriately safe to discuss topics that on the surface seem a little uninviting, also your voice is very soothing :^3 some nitpicks if you feel like reading: the audio leveling throughout is a bit off, there is a noticeable difference in volume between the different readers and clips you showed. I also picked up on the music changing between, when it is you talking, there is quiet fantasy music playing, meanwhile the readers' excerpts have slightly louder lo-fi which may have been done on purpose, but I personally found it a bit jarring. it also seems that you did a do-over on some lines, but did not cut out the initial flub, so it confused me a little in the moment, thinking that I just did not understand the word you said... and speaking of, your audio specifically for this video seems to fluctuate constantly, as if being noise suppressed to some degree? (e.g. 5:17 but there are a bunch of small moments where this happens) I'm not sure if that's the cause, however your audio is fine on other videos you've got such as your livestreams (even went to twitch to check the latest one and that's all good) so it creates this audible imbalance, but aside from all my complaining, everything is mostly understandable and it doesn't impact the overall point! I have been bouncing around the idea of making a video regarding similar topics myself but I'd like to do more research regarding branches such as the reasons people are afraid to engage in such content or feel disgust toward it. I haven't found studies that suggest taboo fantasy affects us meaningfully (in the way that people claim they do) but empathizing from a purely emotional perspective seems necessary, feeling heard feels good! though it is hard to explain all of these concepts repeatedly and account for every little situation, so on an individual level it would just be really annoying. that's why discussing a bunch of the more popular potential cases seems like a good idea to me, such as victims wanting certain fiction to not exist due to their own trauma personally, I've found taboo art to be very helpful for my... brain? I think? I've thankfully not had to go through any sexually-related trauma but exploring unrelated trauma through taboo sexual concepts has helped me navigate my demons for sure. it has also taught me a lot about actual manipulation tactics that real people use, and wouldja look at dat, it saved me the trouble of learning it through real life exposure! it's very freeing to treat fiction this way and it's sad that a lot of people don't believe research and would rather remove anything that makes them uncomfortable :^/ the bad part about it is that a lot of people see it as a gross potential topic and avoid having it entirely... having to police myself in some online friend groups that genuinely believe we should burn fiction we deem 'problematic' (which in itself is such a watered down term that it means nothing) has been tiresome, especially since the same people are kind and clever in other ways <:^3 (side note, it is lame that even some adults will ignore provided studies... I understand teens due to the ongoing emotional development, but "la la la I can't hear you"'s use by even people of age is concerning) if you discuss prawn addiction in a future video I'd be keen to hear your thoughts! I don't know much about it, honestly... it just seems like a way to put down explicit artwork... there is a noticeable trend of people on the interwebs viewing prawnographic art as lesser, like "oh this art is so good, such a shame it's prawn", as if that is an irredeemable sin and such artwork isn't valuable or something?? <:^3 much <3 !!

Thanks for the info. I've barely seen anyone covering this game at all. I was truly looking forward to replay this game, but with all the censorship and flaws... Yeah, I rather not. That being said, I do hope at least someone mods the game to remove the censorship.

I’m glad to see a video like this As someone who is a rule 34 artist, most of the work I do comes off as cathartic to me and it really has helped with my depression, I’m just glad to know I shouldn’t be ashamed of myself, and of course while I’m into dark fantasies it doesn’t mean I support the actual crimes irl Also fun fact, Denmark was gonna make taboo art illegal but cus the government is pro science they let psychologists look into before doing anything and they pretty much came to the conclusion there was no connection to fiction and reality. I wish the world was more like that but too many politicians and law makers around the world are ignorant and religiously biased
