That's pretty cool. I must say, when I was in the fabrication business years ago I would of loved one of those gadgets. wow.
This question isn't about edges, but where is the best place to purchase stands or other props to set things up on when scanning? Also, I need something like an alligator clip but that is sturdy. I've tried googling these, but apparently I'm not using the right words. Thanks in advance.
I just recently took the class and now that I'm starting to work on scans, I have a lot of questions coming up. Would you do this after the triangulation?
Yes this would be done once your mesh is triangulated and reduced to your appropriate poly count. That way your edges would be as sharp and clean as possible as the end result.
@@znythtechnologies thank you so much. This is a little different question, but can you tell me how to reduce the amount of noise/scattered data when scanning a curvy piece so that there is not so much clean up that needs to be done.
@@kemfranklin4093 I'm not sure what scanner/settings you are scanning with but typically that is from too high of a scan resolution setting. To fix it you can brush smooth the affected area to even it with the rest of the surface.
