What some may call pests can also be named as non-conventional eatable plants, and if we think monoculture is a real problem for the nature, we should start diversificating the ingredients of our meals. Bonapetit

Hi - thankyou so much for telling everyone how to use the portal. Pity you never explained HOW to get to the page in the first instance .. Either by a direct [LINK] in the description - or just to explain HOW to navigate through the ORC's website - to arrive at this section. Google though - was far more helpful after a 'KEYWORD" search of: otago natural hazards portal There in the results - of about 97,400 search results (in 0.37 seconds) Being these results.. www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1PQCZ_enNZ703NZ703&ei=C_3oX4qoOZmP4-EPvLqH2AU&q=otago+natural+hazards+portal&oq=otago+natural+hazards+portal&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQDFAAWABg6q1ZaABwAXgAgAEAiAEAkgEAmAEAqgEHZ3dzLXdpeg&sclient=psy-ab&ved=0ahUKEwjK2b35je_tAhWZxzgGHTzdAVsQ4dUDCA0 The first suggestion being this one... [quote] hazards.orc.govt.nz Otago Natural Hazards Portal This story map was created with the Story Map Series application in ArcGIS Online [unquote] Well hello - finally I got what is an almost impossible to copy URL (the "tiny-top-line" page URL, as seen from the video's upper area on RUclips).. Being the URL for this video's screenshot page. Found via a Google Search as: maps.orc.govt.nz/portal/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=b24672e379394bb79a32c9977460d4c2 At a ZOOM (out) level of 30km's - as seen from high above the surface of the WHOLE of Otago.. I still haven't quite got - to this precise PART of that page - as shown by your lovely (non informative) video - but if I persist long enough - I may get the actual full URL / or zoom level - to see this video's progression. ???? Ah-hah - it's only available on (+) ZOOM IN .. to ? 2km Done by clicking on the top [+] tab inside the interactive picture of the WHOLE of Otago That's FOUR clicks on the zoom-in [+] function. Then one has to drag the entire picture to the WEST to find the Eastern Coastline? As in heavily zooming IN to the Eastern Coastal section of the picture "on the above interactive page" One can finally arrive inside this picture - to see the close-up coastal section (that we see at the very start of your video) ? Only by zooming IN until the "distance / map size" (lower left corner) states 2km per each inch of viewed map Then by dragging the zoomed in view all around to get the coastline at the East to appear - until - yep there it is, the coastline with the little island off the coast ... When your original zoomed-out picture/page has been zoomed in to 2km (per inch of map viewed) And positioned directly over the map at precisely [+] 1,397,507,118 M & 4,907,780,219 M Now.. Everyone will now get to see the wee island off the coastline .. Wow - talk about difficult to find. Pity you didn't START the video with that info - instead of just "click the property tab" ? Property tab - WHERE ? (as in how does one find that page on the internet, to even get to click that tab) Now everyone can find it via the EXACT page URL of: maps.orc.govt.nz/portal/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=b24672e379394bb79a32c9977460d4c2

p.s.. I especially LOVE the way the ORC's "outsiders" (the general public) can view the various FLOOD HAZARDS around the Otago region - ? Oh no wait .. they can't. All they will get to see is a huge list of info - that tells them - well - nothing really ? maps.orc.govt.nz/arcgis/rest/services/FloodHazard_Otago2020/FeatureServer/0

For the past century, sea level at Bluff has been rising at about 20cm/century. Given that the current literature indicates that, contrary to expectation, there has been no change in rate in the past 50 years, it should take 300 years to rise 60cm.
