This gives me chills to this day. I see the video is listed as 10 years ago and I graduated 10 years ago in February - that's likely the EXACT instructor cadre I had when I went through. Beyond happy to find this on RUclips 😍
Shtuped khuntes will Never understand. Hear how they mock these Marines for giving themselves to a higher cause. So they can eat, sleep, and deficate under the blanket of Freedom. The day is upon us where NO ONE will protect them. BTW, Persian Gulf II Veteran, here.
I was bravo 1030 in 2015, fantastic company, best drill instructors on the depot. Unfortunately, never got to do this. Broke both my tibias, got sent to MRP, picked up with Charlie after an extra 3 1/2 months of hazing. Totally different vibe, a cakewalk in comparison to Bravo. Everything we did in Bravo was tight af, absolute discipline at every moment When I was with Charlie Co, one afternoon in late third phase my former J Hat (now a senior) happened to march his platoon past mine right as we were about to run inside. He spotted me, and called me over. My Charlie killhat thought I'd done something wrong so he chased after. Old drill hat goes "The fk recruit _____? You're still here? You motivate me. Which company is better, Bravo or Charlie?" I screamed Bravo right in front of my killhat I'd spent the last two something months with. He _lost_ his mind The slay fest wasn't half as bad as I expected, I think they had some level of respect for how ballsy that move was My old hat just smiled and said fuck yeah as I got chased away to the sand pit

During the hikes at Camp Pendelton when I'd struggle to go up those damn hills I always thought back to this video that I saw before I joined and it would always motivate me
Dang I thought you marine guys were supposed to be all hard-core what's up with half the damn element on their knees and the other half only going half way down? In the army if you didn't go all the way down you stayed the fuck down until you could do it properly
@@wobblintop8094 do they let marines actually touch the ground when they do push-ups? In the army if your chest touches the ground it doesn't count they'll make the whole formation stay one to two inches off the ground until everyone can do the exercise properly.
@@preludetodemise kinda have to agree with you a bit. I remember taking the IST and doing the pushups, they let some dudes get a whole minute rest and they weren't even doing them properly. The dude next to me was counting his partner, and he got 70, half-ass pushups. Also the same for other IT sessions, everyone was messy and DI did not care.
@@preludetodemise idk man marine here was going army hell i got a free rest every time i went down. hand release push ups???? aint no way you can't get a 600 with those free rest after every rep. that was the last time i went to their lil pt shit and decided army was fucked.
I'm assuming this is the Company 1SG doing this, and my god, this is truly the greatest moto cadence. I assume it's the 1SG because how he carries his voice and the PSG in front doing the same. This is honestly the most beautiful moment of a PT (slight) session ever. I will never forget my time in the Army and seeing our 1SG come out and run PT it was always motivating for us lower enlisted. Thus why men who hold that rank are the way they are and do what they do, they know how to carry us lowers when times are tough. The First Sergeant if you ask me is without a doubt the most important role in the company next to the Docs.
@@reject847 lol They are all PT Gods, he may be the CO but if you ask me I hope he is the 1SGT because if you are like me. With the honor and beautiful years of service as I was able to be accepted to serve as an enlisted man TOP was who I think we all wanted to emulate. Marine Corp or Army aside, First Sergeant was the guy you wanted to strive to be. I hope our boys now still have that leadership and see it. Gods grace upon all our service men and women then and now. Til Valhalla.
"Wanted to emulate" you nailed it my man, no matter the branch, that position was always the guy with the most experience and was put in that position for a reason. I was the same I wanted to strive to be my First Sergeant every day. Thus why I said when he would come out and run PT all the pain and weary went away because now I felt apart of his being just flow through us. They have their way they carry, speak and just are as a person that inspired me. Lets not forget what it's like when you are all calling cadence with your entire company and brothers, you can feel it flow through your soul and that beautiful violence of volume. Til Valhalla.
One of the greatest regret I ever made was no joining the Corp. Took the test 3x and failed the math so many x. I would've been a great Marine.
I tried the be the loudest one. ask my fellow recruits. I was also bravo company, red is my favorite color.
Anyone in here graduate from bravo company August 2013. This is us! Semper fi marines hope you are all well!
