Awesome work. So much better. To compare it to how it was would be a disservice to the artist. Like comparing cow dung to a diamond. Anyone who whines about it needs their heads looking at lol. The area was in desperate need of a face-lift. Neglected for 30 yrs nearly. Now it needs a permanent cafe, somewhere warm in winter to watch the sun set with a hot chocolate and cool in summer with a beer 😉😉. I've been down there with my dogs to see this art work and it makes me smile. The area feels warmer. It's spectacular. Ty.

Sefton council has,without consulting residents and businesses,imposed cycle lanes on Albert Rd and Hoghton St Southport and made the latter access only for buses & bikes.Their web sites claims between Dec 2020 and July 2021 there has been hundreds of thousands of cycle journeys,a claim which is absurd and untrue.An average of 450-500 per day throughout the winter months,? I dont think so.I live in the area and have been in these roads many times and can say thses lanes are nearly always empty. This is just virtue signalling by Sefton Council,and a waste of taxpayers money.There is a cycle lane rhe entire length of the coast road fromm Woodvale to the plough at crossens,however I very often see cyclists who would rather put themselves in danger by using the very busy 50 m p h road than the cycle lane. Do these ppl have any brains or sense of responsibility?Councils are pandering to cyclists by claiming to help the environment.I am sorry,but I see it as a waste of our money in persuit of a political agenda.
