Great version. You get to feel cool about it because,well, you are!

Absolute magic. This is one of my favorite John Prine songs. So many covers stray so far from the original as to be unrecognizable. This was what a cover should be. Playing the song, but with your own unique take. You keep that cool, bluesy minimalist Prine arrangement, and don't try to "improve" on it. You resect the song, the songwriter, your audience, and yourselves. That is a very difficult thing to accomplish. And the vocal was OK...I guess! LOL! Seriously, my response to the whole vid is WOW!

Pretty much, if you are a bit frail and you catch SARS-CoV-2 and develop COVID and end up on a ventilator and then you die, you died of "COVID bullshit". But what do I know - I'm just a pulmonologist. And I have been listening to John Prine since my big brother shared his first album with me in, I think, 1969 or so. What a stunning loss to us all.
