The NEW MJX 10208 1/10 scale 4S monster promises to be an amazing truck. Claimed speeds of 80km/h, standing backflips, crazy rotations and an all round power house that should be pretty tough coming from the MJX stable. That truck is geared very conservatively. I think it's a 12 tooth pinion. Maybe i am mistaken and it is 13 tooth, but it is definitely not more than 13 tooth. The similar 10th scale truck, the Arrma Granite 3s has a 15 tooth pinion.

How much bigger is the RC car compared to the H14BM ?? And does this RC handle better than the H14BM?
@@philpowell1162 quite alot bigger. This is about the same size as the team associated MT10, the H14BM is a 1/14 scale

hmmm,, very suspicious about the reviews that ae out for this car.. How is it that the reviews online are all new RUclipsrs who have the same story that they have decided to rush out their review.. Not 1 reputable, established reviewer has reviewed this yet.. Don't buy yet folks, hold off and wait until somebody we all know and trust can cast their needy eyes over the truck.. I wan to like this by the way, fan of MJX overall..
I've been doing RC for little while now, but fairly new to the social media side of things. I'm based in China, so the MJX was easy to get hold of. The reason i chose the MJX was because nobody else had a video of it. If there were 50 other RUclipsrs videos out then i probably wouldn't get many views. Anyway that was the logic when starting the channel. Hope you enjoyed the video and subscribe for more

It looks like mjx have looked at all the issues we have with the Arrma 4s v2 range and hopefully given us something Arrma didn’t
I'm loving this. Hope it shakes up the RC world enough to bring all the prices down
Unfortunately I don't think that will happen. Most of the bigger brands are just too comfortable in their current positions, they very rarely even listen to existing customers. It's the new boys on the block that are listening, changing and upgrading.
@@greensrcadventures your probably right. But if they happen to see there numbers go down enough they will hopefully be forced to lower there prices. I'm probably just dreaming

@@greensrcadventures Sorry im new to the hobby. I understand the hype for brands like this. I almost bought one and maybe i will in the futur since it cost pretty much nothing. But i also understand that we dont know how its gonna last. Having a nice discontinued truck that you cant repair sucks. But i like all the different opinions :) I agree traxxas are overpriced and they do it because ppl like me buy their trucks. But i think they are the best for beginners. The ton of online information really helped me understand rc cars. Traxxas is like the "original". Every other trucks are compared to traxxas because its how you know if you have a good truck or no.

They are different trucks. This is bigger than the Rlaarlo. They both can run 4S and are both good looking trucks

Put it through its paces and it's held up really well. I too thought the suspension was a bit soft, you covered that too. Great video.

It sure does look bouncy. Same as the Maxx Slash did. It ended up having crap suspension. Also it looks to have the same crap self removing body as my Xmaxx. I'll probably still get one but I'm not nearly as anxious now.

my man i know your trying.but dont go to a populated park where the birds are singing and everyone wants a nice peacefull time. next ,if your going to make a video of of a very anticipated hot new rc, charge a couple of good 4s batteries the night before.,and please dont run on grass for the video.
Appreciate the suggestion. I live in China though mate, my city alone has about 15M people so everywhere is populated. Have a look at my other video, i drove for an hour to reach a different spot that wasn't on grass. Hope you like it

@@fun-jo4dl nope, definitely doesn't have a button for it. The transmitter is exactly the same as previous MJX models. Really limited functionality

The Rlaarlo Omni Terminator with it's gyro turned on it a blast. This rc does nothing to move the RC world. Blah blah, very noisy as well. 😢
You think that's noisey? How many rcs do you own? Doesn't seem abnormal to me. Unless you're only used to 1/12-1/16th scales.
@@cwatson42785 Noisy in comparison to the Omni Terminators drive line. I own ten, including an Asuga XLR and a Maverick quantum flux r to smaller MJX HyperGo and Wltoys 124008. One of my favorites is my Rlaarlo Ak787.
10...rookie numbers. I own 42 with 2 more on the way. 3 drones and 5 planes also. Six 50 cal ammo cans full of batteries. Enough chargers to charge 26 batteries 6s batteries on their own channel at 1c and enough parts and tires to last a lifetime. 😂

if this car was a little bit wider and longer chassi, i think it would perform way better. do you think so?
In honesty, it handles pretty decent when driving properly. I was driving one handed in all the footage, holding the camera in the other hand. Trying to drive and record at the same time takes a bit of practice.
It has a compact robust body that could easily break a leg😁.
Wish we can see the size comparison side by side next to the 1/14th scale.
Its a little smaller than an Arrma Granite, Granite wheelbase is 287mm, MJX is 281mm. I believe width is 335mm.
@gillian9178 MJX is 285mm. It's essentially the same size as a team associated Rival mt10 and a redcat trmt10e. Both right around 11" wheelbase.
Its a proper 1/10 if thats your concern

actually doesn't handle that bad, i was driving one handed and most of the crashes were my bad driving, not the cars fault. This is way more stable than the smaller models from MJX
Why do you say handles like crap? You're not even driving it lol. I could see if it was on a track or your were driving it to tell what the inputs are. Can't really tell just by watching unless it was on a track

Needs a Dumbo Transmitter with Gyro receive so you can adjust the Brake force.
how do you adjust the brake force with a dumborc? That is usually done programing the ESC.
@@RinkaiKouen if you use dumborc ddf350 model, it has the feature to set acceleration/brake curve and it's awesome, I have this transmitter and set the curve to be more soft on all my RC's

I ordered direct from the manufacturer, it took two days to arrive as im based in China. Prices outside of China are probably going to be around 280USD

@Hungrybird474 the shell popped completely off, never seen the carbon terminator do that. We should see a detailed unboxing by other YT rc channels soon. Would love to see how it handles ramp jumps and flips. I dont think I saw one clean backflip landing. Looks like it rolls over way too often. It's too narrow and bouncy, -off set wheels and thinner fluids might fix it.

The new #Rlaarlo MK07 is a really capable trail runner/crawler. I was really surprised at how well it performed on some pretty difficult terrain
