Santhosh Chandran, starting from the Southernmost part of a large nation to becoming one of India’s most sought-after guitarists. A guitarist with a unique playing style and adept in multiple genres, including Flamenco, Rock, Jazz, blues, and Classical, he is one of the very few recognised Flamenco artists in India. Santhosh started playing guitar professionally in 1989 and has been the lead guitarist for many accomplished bands and singers ever since. He has toured across the world, performing at international venues in the Middle East, South Africa, Australia, New York, Ukraine, and Beirut, an exposure that has deeply influenced his playing style. His versatility on the instrument has won him several accolades, including the 2021-22 Grammy for playing in the track Gandhi from the award-winning album Divine Tides. When not playing the guitar, he wears the hat of a music producer, composer, session artist, and tutor. Santosh Chandran currently resides in Los Angeles, USA.
