Beautiful song. Happy Mothers day to all mums this Sunday. My mum passed away in 2019 and Happy Mothers Day to her in heaven. I am not a mum I have 2 sisters and only 1 is a mum. All 3 brothers have children.

This Damien guy doesn't have a voice suited for Roy Orbison's songs. I really don't like his music, but I respect him for paying tribute to the greatest singer ever.

Hmmm. I supose he might have thought the fact that Roy Orbison's widow was producing and endorsing the album meant that it was something Mrs Orbison, the person with the legal and moral right to the songs, wanted him to do. Damien did a cover of Crying on Idol. Mrs Orbison requested a copy of the tape and obviously felt Damien was the person who best could do her husband's songs justice. Who are you to question her judgment.

I don't believe you went to Damiens concert at all, I went to his concert and as others have said he got standing ovations and the loudest cheering I have ever heard, and that was at all his concerts. You are just a trouble maker who does this to all his official videos.

@hartommitch I fully agree Roy Orbison 's hits should be left alone as they were written and performed.As i have stated earlier this year i prefer a complete Roy Orbison experience unfortunately when i saw Damien's versions of the original hits at the Enmore Theatre we were so dissappointed as were others in the audience. Damien's fans were excited but true Roy Orbison fans were left with an emptiness on the night.Nevertheless Damien has cashed in on Roy's name and music - good luck to him.

I was lucky enough to go to one of his many big sellout concerts where he sang songs from Roy and some of his own original songs, stunning voice even better live, he had standing ovations and the loudest cheering i've ever heard. Thankyou Damien for your voice of an angel

@310607mrs I was at the Enmore Theatre myself and I noticed nothing of your silly comments. To see the full house standing ovations from both the lower and the upper levels was amazing. I was next to people who hadn't seen Damien perform before and they were blown away and were going to check out other shows he is doing. People were buying CD's and his books. The queue to see him after the show stretched into the theatre itself from the main lobby. Why did you go when you dislike him so much?

@310607Mrs I very much doubt you were at the Enmore and if you were I'm not sure you were paying Attention at all.Damien got a standing ovation from the whole theatre at the end of the show and they were lined up for ages to chat with him.Who the hell do you think you are,Damiens wife has never tried to be noticed she is a beautiful easy going lady not that you would know that.I don't know what your agenda is but you need to get over yourself.

I went to Enmore Theatre Saturday night to see his Roy concert and boy oh boy what a big let down the famous songs were destroyed by Damien and i witnessed a lot of dissappointed Roy Orbison fans in the audience who were not impressed with Damiens versions. People were commenting their dissappointment as they left. Sorry Damien can you please tell your wife that she is trying so hard to be noticed that people are beginning to laugh at her. Talking while you sing is not a good look.

Sorry, but who the fuck does Damien think he is. Just to go off and re-record a legends list of hits to earn himself some funds because his career never took off. The only people who should does this, are singers who knew Roy and have successfully made it on their own. Like Chris Isaak and Bruce Springsteen etc etc. When Buck Owens passed away, Dwight Yoakam re-recorded some of his hits, and so he should. They had a history. Imagine if it was some nobody from American Idol. Disrespectful Damien!

@jkdguy1 Barbara Orbison wanted Damien to record these songs! So your comments are completely invalid! Know your facts, before giving your opinion and consider, If it's good enough for Barbara then there is certainly no desecration going on! Perhaps a simple "I prefer the originals" might have been a valid comment.

This is a beautiful song and video. So pleased that I decided to take another look. Thinking of all those who have lost their mums, and a very happy Mother's Day for every mum out there.

In Dreams… She’s a Mystery to Me… so gorgeous! But it doesn’t sound like Roy O because Damo's not being an imitator! He says it so well at 6:04 - he’s putting his own stamp on these Roy classics. I'm really happy it still sounds like Damien - inspired by some really beautiful songs! And the McClymonts singing Blue Bayou with D - Such a passionately cruisie version (is that really possible? Lol, yes.) Damien gets to show off his fantastic voice, too. Love his emotion, strength and range!

This is wonderful Damien, just love seeing the background to your new Album Roy. Never was much of an Orbison fan, with the exception of a few songs but your CD Roy and the background clips have given me a new appreciation of his music. I have always, however, been a huge fan of you and your amazing voice. Thanks D♥

A lovely look into the making of the album Damien..have never been a huge fan of the big O' but always a fan of yours and you have given me a newer better respect of his music. Some I had to listen to a couple of times before the old memory banks kicked in so now I am really loving the album plays most of the day..lol

I noticed that there seems to be a pattern of a covers album followed by an original: Winner's Journey (astounding)> Where We Land (gorgeous) > Catch the Wind (atmospheric)> Remember June (so brilliant!!) > Roy (fun & stunning)... so I've got a feeling that another fantabulous original will be next dededom! Meanwhile, enjoy his take on Roy Orbison. :-)
