      I'd say so yeah, you'd have to cut the pavement or concrete depending on what your driveway is topped with, but otherwise it'll lift that and trench absolutely.

      Mowing is only one of the things I use it for, the other videos show other things I do with the loader, backhoe and grapple attachments I have. Also because its the smallest subcompact with those capabilities so, other than having multiple machines, the all-in-one format was attractive to me.

    Does it lift and cut the grass under the front wheel tracks? That’s the issue I see with a lot of mower decks.

    • @kvinceoutdoors
      @kvinceoutdoors 3 месяца назад

      If I'm understanding correctly, does it have a way to pop the grass back up after the front wheels flatten it so the grass is cut equally, no there is no mechanism on the deck to do that but I've only ever noticed that issue of uneven cuts if I mow when the grass is wet or damp, if it's dry it bounces back up in time for the blades to hit.

    I have been watching reviews and testing various leaf blowers (even electric) and I end up back to the Stihl BG50...consistent and lightweight... time is to valuable to have to wait for batteries to charge and too expensive for back ups, especially with large yards. I also wish Echo was reliable because when they run, they TCB.

      @kvinceoutdoors Год назад

      watch the other videos

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c Год назад

      Oh its definitely overkill LOL. I have an acre, and have a sub-compact tractor which I bought mostly for the loader and rear PTO functionality for roto-tilling and that type of stuff....however, I did go ahead and get the 60" mid mount mower...one thing I like about how my tractor manufacturer designed their 60" decks is they offset the deck on the tractor so the left side sticks out farther, so trimming around obstacles is extremely easy, cuts down on the amount of weed eating, or mowing with a walk behind to get around trees, and the yard border. I don't have the drive over deck with my tractor, my tractor manufacturer offers it but didn't see any reason for it, and it adds a lot of crap hanging from under the tractor when the deck is removed that'll get snagged on stuff....with the deck removed on my tractor there's nothing hanging down it all tucks up into the tractor frame. I don't use the tractor to mow very often, but when I do, its usually for a friend who has a larger property with wide open areas to mow. I have a lawn tractor that I use most of the time for my own property, and my sub-compact tractor still takes up a larger footprint with the loader removed and rear implement removed....its longer and a little wider than a regular lawn tractor, and made even longer with the 3 point hitch arms sticking out the back....although, mowing with my tractor is much more comfortable and easier due to its size and it has power steering where my lawn tractor is smaller, and lighter weight and lacks power steering. I didn't buy my tractor to mow the lawn with, I knew it was overkill, but still got the mower deck because I know I can mow with it if I need to, my tractor will far outlast my lawn tractor, so, only made sense to buy the mower deck for my tractor and I'll never have to buy another lawnmower. I do roto-tilling occasionally, and loader work around my property, which were a couple main uses, plus I have a box blade and a rear scraper blade so I can do snow removal if needed...being able to clear snow, and keep the gravel driveway leveled out and free of holes and such were a couple of the items high on the list for buying a tractor....the mower deck just happened to be a bonus, as at the time they had a deal going on where if you bought the tractor with a loader and at least 1 implement you got the mower free, apparently must sometimes be something a dealership can do from what I was told, by doing package deals certain times of the year....I don't know, but it worked out for me LOL. Would I buy a sub-compact tractor just as a lawnmower, no, because my property is small enough a regular box store lawn tractor can easily handle the task....if you have a couple acres or more of grass to mow, it might be a wise choice, but then again a lawn tractor, or zero turn would probably be better if you wanted to get done faster, although the tractor moves out pretty well, its quite a rough ride LOL. The only reason to really get a sub-compact or a compact tractor for mowing duties, is if you are running a brush hog (rotary cutter), or a flail mower as they don't have the speed and agility that a zero turn has.

    It was painful watching you try to reverse rake with the grapple. All you had to do was set the bottom jaw at the same angle as the ground and go FORWARDS. I own one just like that and it scrapes the ground down to the dirt, and does an awesome job. Keep scraping forward until you have as much as the jaws can hold and close the lid and move giant piles with one trip. That's what it's for, let the tines and design do their thing.

      How interesting. I just crossed over 2 years / 300 hours with my little John Deere 1025R as I use the front end loader bucket and easily switch to forks thanks to John Deere quick attach, I’ve blown plenty of snow with my 54” front John Deere blower, I attach my 60” mower deck, mow then remove it easily thanks to its drive over auto-connect deck then easily store the deck in my shop thanks to the deck having load-n-go and deck stands, I frequently switch my three point attachments from box blade that I use for snow removal, gravel road and lot maintence, ground breaking, my rear weights which I can add and remove easily due to my iMach hitch and weight cart , and my stump grinder which has proven to be a little beast. I’ve added a few accessories, just due to what I wanted and how I use my tractor. More lights, brackets around the ROPS lights, some tiedown points, bolt-on hooks, a differential lock pedal, and deck plugs. I’m happy with the tractor, attachments, and accessories. After varied, year round use, I’ve only done routine maintenance. Nothing’s broken. Not one thing. I guess this means it must be you. I’m sorry to be the one to inform you that you are the common link to your failures.

So far I've only used them a couple of times but had I not of had them to use in the first place those tasks would be a lot harder to do. - The quality is great, it's just a matter of getting used to how they protrude off the bottom of the bucket so you can't just go flat & level to the ground when picking up of dropping off a pallet. I've been setting the pallets up on 4x4s to give me a little clearance.
