Some CZ P10 Love !
Absolutely! I love that CZ P10c
Bob got a p10f competition?
Yes he did. First match out with it. Says its his goto gun now.
Nice looking range. Sweet stages!
Yea, our first time there, great place to shoot. Lots of shade and grass. Great fast stages
Looks like a fun course.
Our first time there, great match
That's some rootin tootin shootin Squirrel good job...
The Zombies didn't know what hit them!!!. 😂
Red steel, Red steel... Sounded like you were calling codenames! Nice shooting man.
Yea I didnt catch that. Fun match that day, everybody was having fun
Night matches are so fun. We have these periodically at Antelope Club.
Oh a night match. That looks way fun.
Its a lot of fun. If you're close enough, you should try it at least once.
What caliber is that 22?
Yes, 22LR
@@floridashooters7527 thanks. Anyone shoot 9mm at the steel challenge
Oh yea, quite a few, you even see the occasional .40 and .45 @@docUSSNeverSail
I'm glad I never yelled at him when he worked for me!😮
Good to see other shooters in their Right mind. Lefties rule!!
I like the rain effect you put on for the third stage. Looks super realistic!
Very smooth Steve.
Thank you! Still getting used to that little Hellcat Pro but I do love it!
Pretty good shooting for no dot on the first stage.
Thanks for posting a video from the match!
Our pleasure!
Congrats on the win today!
Thanks!!
I live in Pinellas but I really want to start doing steel challenges at Hernando's, is a rimfire pistol enough?
For Steel Challenge, yes, a Rimfire pistol is all you would need. Depending on if you have iron sights or a red dot you would be in either RFPI, (Rimfire Pistol Irons) or RFPO, (Rimfire Pistol Optics). But for this match, Rimfire Challenge, you would need a Rimfire Pistol and a Rimfire Rifle, as you have to shoot each stage with both guns. If you are in Pinellas County, Check out the Wyoming Antelope Club. Its on 126th Ave in Clearwater, just south of Ulmerton Road. They have a Steel Challenge match there every 3rd Saturday of the month. Dean Herrig runs it and he is a very helpful guy.
I love the casual “my finger not working” haha. I’m actually local to Tampa and have considered getting into competition shooting. Any advise or maybe know of a group I can learn from and meet?
Yes, Check out the Wyoming Antelope Club. They are on 126th Ave, just south of Ulmerton. They have matches there just about every weekend. Also at Hernando Sportsmans Club, but thats in Brooksville Florida, about 75 to 90 minutes north of you.
Nice shooting
Any idea what caused the malfunction? The last stage looks like he left three poppers up, or were they no shoots or something similar? Nice shooting overall!
Never figured out why the malfunction. The steel poppers were fixed for this match, so you just had to bang them and repaint each time. They said something about having trouble calibrating them for the .22 division so they made them fixed.
Nice shooting. I am curious though, Why were there shirts on two targets?
Covers the zones so you cant see if you are hitting a 0, -1 or -3 Just something they do to make it more interesting.
Nice shootin’. Really nice run on Pendulum too👍
Thanks. I actually improved my best time to date on that stage.
At 0:48 did you use the hostage as cover? 😂
Well, sort of. there was a fault line, and the course was poorly designed. Should Have been 2 barrels there stacked and no hostage target that close.
Great job!!!
Thank you!!
Is this the same style as Steel Challenge?
Same style yes, 5 strings per stage, but must be done with both a rifle and a pistol, times are added together. Generally 7 to 9 plates per stage. Other than that, pretty much same rules as Steel Challenge.
Good shooting! I had a great time. Been too long since I was there.
So how does the scoring work on this. We’re there targets that needed 3 rounds and some than get less??
Scoring is time plus penalties. Plain brown targets are zombies, require 1 hit to the head, targets with red paint are infecteds, require 3 hits to the body, 2 of which must be C zone or better. Failure to neutralize a zombie target is a "Still Walking" penalty, adds 5 seconds to your stage time, Failure to neutralize an Infected target is a "Created A Walker" penalty and adds 10 seconds to your time.
@@floridashooters7527 Looks awesome. Im gonna have to try it sometime. What are the equipment requirements/capacity rules?
@@travispowell2471 They have 6, 8, 15, and 24 round capacity division, plus a PCC, which is unlimited raounds and Heavy with is 6 rounds or 45acp or 45lc only requires 2 shots in some and 1 in others
Kid looks like he has a good time and shoots great as well!
Cool stages on a few of those
Good seeing you guys today.
Yes it was. Hopefully you can make it up to our neck of the woods more often.
I was there too! I am the kid with the bunny ears, and tie dye shirt
Come over and say hi next match!
@@floridashooters7527 Definatly! Whats your name? My name is Walker, and my dads name is also Walker. My dad has the big white beard and the camo hat with a pirate patch on the front. We will also be there in may with my grandpa and younger sister. Hope to see you there!
@@SaltWalkerOutdoors Oh yea, you guys drive the big Excursion. I'm Steve, my son is Michael.
Glad it was dry for you guys.
Awesome shooting, I'm thinking about giving this a try also.
Absolutely! Get out and have some fun!
Nice reload at the 1:59 mark.
What rifle are you using?
Its the Palmetto State Armory PA-X9 with a few changes
😁👍
good job
That looks like a lot of fun.Enjoy
Nice
Nice shooting That looks like a lot of fun .
Like the slow motion bit at the end.
Interesting, does the club offer metallic silhouette? Thanks!
I believe they do. They have all the barnyard animal steel targets they setup on the 200 yard range.
@@floridashooters7527 I contacted them, 3rd. Sunday 9 AM every month. Thanks!
Title is misprinted. Should say pcc division. Good video though.
Nice shooting. That looks like a fun course / match. What club do you shoot at? My parents live in FL and I'd like to shoot a match during one of my visits from the cold North East.
This was at The Wyoming Antelope Club in Clearwater Florida, off Ulmerton Road. www.wacshooting.com/
Its the Wyoming Antelope Club in Clearwater, off Ulmerton Road. They always setup great courses and have matches going on 6 nights a week.
@@floridashooters7527 Thank you very much for the info.
Damn it man, you didn't waste any time posting this video. lol
That's some fine shooting!
I live in St Pete I'm not too far away can I just go up there and use the range how do you get started in shooting like this
