Love the Bookbinders Museum (and zines)! Bookbinding, imo, is a really fun and rewarding art/craft-form - and zines are really underrated forms of communication! Definitely recommend more people make/search for/read zines, especially since they're really easy and low-stakes/low-effort to make too! ^^

Congrats to Three Sails Studios on the upcoming Kickstarter! I've had Mappa Mundi on my high-priority TTRPG wishlist since the AP episode, so I'll absolutely pledge to it.

Great Video. Picked up the core rule book one when I was in the Yellow Submarine RPG Hobby Store two weeks ago. Picked up some dice and a store pin from their gatcha ball dispensers too. Fun afternoon.

Uh no. Fantasy as we know it was created by two white men: JRR Tolkien and his friend and colleague CS Lewis. Fantasy can no more be decolonized than cyanide mining solvent can be made safe to drink, because it was made by and for white anglo-saxon nerds (fantasy, that is, but I'd bet that nerds had something to do with inventing solvent too). Trying to kick us out of our own space is, by definition, colonization.

Speaking of it...part of me feel if people wondered about "conflict of interest" in big RPG magazines like Dragon and White Dwarf since former was owned by TSR and Wizards of the Coast while latter was owned by Games Workshop? That might affect journalism in TTRPG with I've seen good insights from forums back in 2000's. OR it's just my ignorance in a medium that ONLY just recently got large surge after being overshadowed by videogames and internet despite being marginally older.

I don't think this breaks immersion at all. Aurora's Whole Realms Catalogue from back in the 90s straight up had tortillas, ramen, udon, and soy sauce in it, as well as moccasins, tabi, spiked collars, and cigars made with tobacco which they didn't have in medieval Europe. There's also a continent based off of east Asia called Kara-Tur that is east of Faerun.

usually when I see Japan videos its about the arcades or the retrogame/used media shops like HARD-OFF and the like... this has gotta be a first coming across one specifically on TTRPG stuff! Surprised sword world still exists I remember seeing there were super famicom games based on it, so neat! amused at the delicious in dungeon game as well I wonder if that'll ever get released here?!
