It honestly never surprised me when news broke that he cheated, he always seemed like just a cliche WASPy frat boy who gets married because that’s what’s expected of him, not cuz he really wanted to. His constant rambling about being married just seemed like weird overkill

I don’t think she was punished, per se. I think she chose to no longer appear on it for privacy’s sake.

She may now be living a more private life but there’s no way they could have kept Ariel around after the events that happened which in a way she was punished for his actions

I don’t mean to over analyze but Ariel does seem a bit insecure so maybe deep down she worries she wouldn’t be able to find a better man so she’s willing to tolerate Ned‘s behavior and considering they have children I think Ariel has that boost to stay and work things out for the sake of them.

Thiiissss. I've thought this so many times since. Every drinking episode, even the stoned ones, his real personality came out and was WILD and the other guys were veru clearly crazy uncomfortable everytime.

He was always extremely aggressive for no reason and flirting with the other guys which was telling in itself because they looked uncomfortable with it no matter what and the fact that they openly talked about how they didn't like him being drunk or stoned

@@jemabirdnow that I’m thinking about it, you’re totally right. I get it. Remember when they were driving drunk and it was Ned’s turn? He actually scared everyone in the car. I think Ned is just the person who is so insecure with himself, that he has to put on a mask for every aspect of his life. Sad. He got a beautiful and wonderful woman and two beautiful children involved with his issues.

idk i think having kids can make it difficult to leave. i think working on the marriage is not bad but she needs to set boundaries and he needs to be comfortable being monitored and restore her trust in him.

The same day there was a concerned neighbor that posted a complaint about people having sex in a car parked on the street on the Nextdoor app and added a photo of the car. It was Ned’s car in the photo. She made the statement to point out internalized misogyny on the podcast, but it ended up confirming she was not in the car when the Nextdoor post was made

There was no date listed for this comment in correlation with the date listed for the car, but it does sound suspicious

​@@TJAndersonthat wasnt actually the same day as this podcast. They were caught hooking up in neds car on the nextdoor app, but that was in the morning, on the way to film one of zacks videos, where he explores a million dollar house for a day or something.
