Hello, sorry for the delay! This product cannot automatically turn on the power switches for either the computer or the docking station. You can leave the power on and keep it in an active state. Then, when you boot up or wake up your computer, you can use the docking station directly without turning its power on separately.

Welp, this is not a thunderbolt dock, only a USB-C dock, so your Acasis thunderbolt dock is still better

I saw a review of a guy with a lenovo can drive even a 49inch and 34 inch monitor with this. Your device should be fine.

I can use it for my VR headset on 90hz which is acceptable considering I bought it at a very good discount.
