Isn’t LED the same quality of light as NEON? Educate me, please
Gracias ! Desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Good morning! I’m in the Rochester, NY area and I’m looking to have some cold cathode tubes made. Can you help me?
Man I prolly did a million of those back in the day,,,,Tubending is a great Gig ,,,,miss it
That was pretty smooth! Went a lot faster than I thought. I've wondered what people do with the bunsen burner in there. That burner looked pretty classic! Putting oxygen in all the flames is news to me, and you can see it really makes things move! Good show. I hope you can make more of these!
Go, Megavolt! I liked the technique, the crossover from Scientific Glassblowing I guess. That little opening for the electrode was done very neatly, without a tool and without making little shards of glass from blowing a thin bubble, as so many people do. A little oxygen didn't seem to hurt anything!
Glad to watch this, it's always a nervous moment. Does anyone put a little insulating something over the tubulation where it joins the electrode? I was thinking of those little mica sheets with a hole in it, or a bit of asbestos SUBSTITUTE... maybe one could get a little closer, make that tiny stub shorter? Anyway, I enjoyed watching this, just realized that there WAS a VENTEX channel....
Is that cyanoacrylate adhesive?
Bren is amazing! Bending glass is second nature to him.
Как на нем повышается частота
Nice job Morgan....... In regards to the Ventex Magnetic Transformer. Was this design carried over from Transco or Lecip or something that Ventex Implemented??
Thanks guys - just got my bombarder hooked up - have never tipped off before so I appreciate your knowledge- Ken
Wish me luck. I'm going to be trimcapping a large Greene Turtle face made of lexan in a minute, so I hope it works with that specific plastic. Once it's all set up, I'd put a bead of silicone around the edge where you glued just for extra securement. Probably wouldn't need it on small stuff, but giant faces like this, I would
Will the dimmer work with any power supply?
It is specific to the the VT 5520A-120F Power Supply! You can find it at ventextech.com/products/vt5520a-120f/
Hello, and thanks for watching! This dimmer will only work with the VT5520A-120F power supply. For more info on this power supply, please visit: www.ventextech.com/products/vt5520a-120f/
It would be the greatest day if you could replicate and sell the bertonee models used as a Ventex Model number. These are the 12v and 120v models used by Don Smith We would all buy them and use them for Don's circuit technology since the circuit is out there, however we need the NST to make this work. We need not acquire an NST that shuts down from lowered impedance loads or tank circuits provided they have the ability to run in resonance. The sign transformer's protection can't come on with LC circuits wired to them. Is there a model that will function for me? If so I will buy several. I'm not looking to send back items that may stop functioning, however they need to work out of the box. Thanks, Marc
