The more Slipknot I play, the more I realize that their catalogue is harder to play than it looks. Even though the guitar parts are seldom complex, the difficulty always lies in the speed with which they play, and there's no better example for this than Before I forget. Its main riff definitely proved to be a challenge, but it was nonetheless very fun to record!

This time I tried something different. Since I started learning more TOOL songs recently I though about covering the entire Undertow album in one single take. As such, it is rather sloppy with tons of little (and some major) mistakes, and the quality is not great as this isn't how I go about making and editing my videos, but I think it is a good indication of my guitar progress and consistency....

This is the best way to become an excellent musician. Forget about the mistakes. Forget about the production value. It takes stamina, focus, drive, skill, and MASSIVE CHOPS to play through an entire album. I hope it taught you a lot about how Adam Jones writes guitar riffs.
Thank you for the kind words, brother! I really did start to see lots of similarities between songs early on, which helped me to be more consistent at them. It was rather difficult but overall a very enjoyable experience, which is why I also plan on doing a full cover of Aenima (but first I will have to do individual covers for Undertow and only then will I start learning the stuff off of Aenima). Hope to see you there when that challenge is completed! 🤘🤘
