Sorry for the delay. I really focus on quality toys that we can keep for longer. Right now we mostly have fagus trucks, magnetic tiles, and tomica vehicles, then the wood blocks I made while ago, also some brio trains and that’s about it. I started with montikids for the younger age though

Hi sorry for the delay! I’ll let you know what I do here since I haven’t been making videos. In the ikea kitchen I have added 3” spheres on the bottoms to raise it up. The top shelf doesn’t have the microwave part anymore. I keep his plates, bowls, cups, and silverware up there. I have 2 sets from Lalo. In the cupboard, I have folded cloth napkins for him to clean up spills and for eating time.

Your video was sooo relatable. When we could afford more, I spend more on decor / hosting items. Only to be overwhelmed by them later. But letting go has been so emotionally and mentally draining because we spent so much money on them. I tried to sell each piece, but they’re slow to sell and don’t recoup much. Over the years we’ve let go of a lot and I’m almost at the point where they are all gone. The relief is amazing. Luxury items can be such a drag.
Right! Totally get the feeling. Selling stuff is the hardest part for me. I hate how much money I lost with those things I never used. Congrats on getting to the other side, it’s an arduous journey.

I think you have your bottoms sorted out. Your tops look like where you can improve. I would do two tanks in neutrals and 2 tshirts and maybe shop for some dressier blouse like tops for next year or a few dresses.

That seems like it was a hard process for you. I feel you. Your end result book collection gives a breath of fresh air. I can’t have as many toys as you have left over though, because with my two boys and even organized they will indeed make their way all around the house.💗

Great video! Remember that dried food last waaay longer than the expiration date! Im a minimalist but i make sure that we have food in our house for at least two weeks without getting to a store/supermarket because you never know what can happen (emergencys like food shortage, food logistics problems, war, natural disasters etc. etc.) Love your kitchen by the way!

@@itslivvyg that´s really good! we make sure to always have at least two of the things that we use alot that we have in our pantry, and just rotate them and buy new ones when one is out. We stock a lot of pasta, flour, canned tomato, canned tuna etc. Things that we can make alot of, that´s high in energy and can be stored for a long time without getting expired.

Lol well I only have one 😂 2 could definitely get away with this… a lot of bikes are made for 2 kiddos! I wish we weren’t so far dependent here, it sucks. I have a hard time even finding places to lock up… it’s not Europe lol. People drive like 1-5 minutes away so crazy to me.

Another great video! I am definitely a list person!! What I try to do if I don’t have time to make one or if I happen to misplace the list. I will make sure I remember the the number of things on that list. In doing that I can try to see if I can remember it all.. most times I do. I was that mom that would have my infant in the “rocker” in the bathroom with me then when I had my second child I would be taking showers at 2am. The days are certainly long but the years do fly by.

Pay no attention to expiration dates. Check the food itself to see if it is still good. There are exceptions, such as oils because they go rancid. The dates are put on by the manufacturer to get you to buy more product. Beautiful kitchen.

I use handkerchief for a few years now instead of tissue paper. My mum had loads from her childhood, some still in boxes and I'm so used to it by now. For kitchen towels I cut up my old T-shirts and towels and use those for cleaning 👍
Handkerchiefs, love that idea. Also like the T shirt idea, that is unique and probably looks cool.
I have lots of hankies from my grandma, about 50 or so. I used them alot when I worked and coordinated them to my outfits. Much better then tissues.
