North Walsham 24 - Oundle 31. Barry Frost gives us his comments on an exciting, close game.
Oundle have not beaten this season and no team has even gained a losing bonus point against them. Until today, that is, as North Walsham Vikings ran them close in a thrilling encounter which led to a losing bonus point 24 - 31 result at Scottow, lifting the Vikings up two places in the league and heralding an encouraging start to the second half of the season. The Vikings ground out an impressive bonus point win in an entertaining match against Hertford in wet and soggy conditions at Scottow on 7th December. Our Director of Rugby was impressed by the team's performance on the pitch against opposition who were anything but a push over. Our Match Day Sponsor was Drury's Transport & Warehousing of North Walsham.
