SP2 owner and garage buddy here - great event great day, shame about all the red flags mainly in the morning. Shout out to my 'brolly dolly' Dan - big help. Some onboard footage from the inters on my page, ranging from 1:50 to high 1:50's so definitely move to inters next time.
Everyone needs a Dan! 😂 Good going buddy 👍🏻
Just a quick question , do you need to join the Ducati group to get onto a Donnington track date or is there a other way ? 👍
No, not at all. Just book on through the Ducati UK website. They're advertised well in advance 👍🏻
@producsmachina4991 Cheers buddy , never done a track day. Looking forward to it. 👍
Be ready to want to do more 😂
@@producsmachina4991 😅😁👌👍
That was brilliant - really enjoyed watching that, and a great record of the day! 🤛
One to look back on when you're a regular fast group speedy boi
Even the pit girl! 😂
🤣
Epicness was had by all!
Capital E.
Was a great day… can’t wait for the next one!
Likewise! We might even get out in the next one 👍🏻
That bike looks very good, probably i buy a bike same as that
They're a great looking bike alright 👍🏻
This could be such a good series ill even let you bring it to the unit and ill film it for you, on a decent camera and lighting and can even apply Matte PPF .
If you can sort the audio too we've got a deal....
Audio is easy, depending on where your location and bring E92 for a detail and PPF as well. We are near some great biking roads.
Probably the only part you can remove on a Panigale1199 w/o removing the entire engine -LOL Well done, and Ricks Hi-Torque starter is so much better than the Denso in everyway, much lighter too. Friend of mine Leslie Grossman helped Rick do all Ducati prototype work at his dealer long ago (BCM Ducati) I had to replace my 999 starter w/ a RIcks after I installed a BCM 102mm overbore Kit w/ Pistal HC pistons 13.5:1 the old starter had a hard time cranking those huge pistons when chilly, a Motolectric HICAP kit helped immensely.. Yeah, well done . maybe use a bit more lighting behind .. so we can better see the job !! Take Care !!!
Yeah, it seems everything else is a nightmare! Thank you for watching and the feedback on the lighting. I think each video is a small step on improving so I really appreciate these comments. All the best buddy 👍🏻
You don't need any special tools to do the belts, just mark the teeth with metal marker. Easy as been doing these like this for 20 years.
On a 998 if you use the cam locking tools it allows the belts to be tensioned very accurately without changing the timing/rotating the cam wheels when tensioning.
Having never tried it, I'll bow to superior experience and the owners input 👍🏻
Recently bought a 916, bloody love it. Now the search starts for all the trick bits as it’s a stock Biposto.
Congrats! Good luck making it your own 👍🏻
Nice one Matt !
Cheers mate!
I have a '02 748 in Yellow. I did a mirror delete and bar ends. You can actually see with them, not just admire the arms of your jacket.
How did they look on the bike?
I have absolutely no issue with my 748's mirrors. My 999's mirrors on the other hand, I find utterly useless.
Seems your sound on the bike is very low/bad.
Turns out the helmet mic is recording on one channel only. Didn't realise until after it was edited so will be fixed for the next one 👍🏻
These are devices of torture. Trust me, go for a Panigale.
But dem looks doe 🤷♂️🤣
Good luck mate. Another English bike channel Following.👍
Thanks my friend, very much appreciated 👍🏻
I think you'll find the S has a 50mm exhaust whereas the base model has 45mm. Please address all specifications in future! 🧐
Haha got me there
Enjoyed that :)
Glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
All that effort and the ignition switch still looks like arse.
It's in the list..
Love my 7r had it from new I'm the only owner they would need to pry it out my cold dead hands 😅, love the video ,good luck with the channel chap and Hi from Scotland.
Wow, what a thing to have had since new. Thanks for the good wishes. I appreciate you commenting my friend. 👍🏻
Oi oi. Legendary mechanic!
Legendary. Tea maker.
Phew! it started..
I know. Tense.
Cant wait to see if it starts 😬
But mostly bike
And presenter 😂
Beautiful bike ❤❤❤
A nice tribute to Bryan, well done Matt. Looking forward to seeing how the 916 turns out :)
Cheers buddy. That makes two of us 👍🏻
2024 just got an 03 Zx7R orange😎👍
Congrats!
Well done Matt. That took a lot to do. 💪 Look forward to seeing the rest of the series. 🤛
Cheers dude! Won't be long for the next one 👍🏻
Carrry On Brother, Subbed.
Cheers buddy, welcome to the journey 👍🏻
Couldn’t have been an easy thing to do… Heart breaking and thoughts are with you…
Cheers buddy. There's only one way to go from here 👍🏻
❤️
Well done Matt. Could see it took a lot.
Thank you. A long time in the making...
120hp is not for beginners. Are you serious?
My first bike had 110bhp. It's all about how you approach it.
@@producsmachina4991 you surely didnt use all 110hp. Sonwhy get a bike this powerful? 70-80 is more than enough
Occasionally, yes - of course I did. Not on a corner or in the middle of town but where it could be used, it was. Personally, I think it's about mindset but I understand there will always be those that try and run before they can walk 👍🏻 As for why, have you looked at it? 🤣
Worthless.
How so?
Not worth the investment, for such a small boost., of Power.. at all
To be honest, it doesn't need any more power at the top. The biggest improvement is the driveability lower down.
One of my favourite bikes! But I would NEVER recommend the ZX7R to be ridden by a beginner...Way too much power and weight for a newbie regardless of how old the bike is. Good video though. Cheers.
I take your point but it's all about attitude. My first bike was a zx6r and it was similar power-wise.
Hi im glade to owend a kawasaki ninja zx7r from 96 Im dutch not so young anymore but still riding it always in good condicion
I hope you've got some good use out of it, whats the mileage?
You did the review better than me!
The ZX-7 was never a good beginner's bike, and it isn't now.
With a sensible head on, it's fine. My first bike was a zx6r and that went OK....
Ride to Spain and back on a 98 Zx7r. Done track days on it and many mental Sunday blasts…. Front end like no other. I will only every own 90s bikes, these modern ones can go to Hell.. and I work as a bike Mechanic…,,
I have a 2001 zx7r what a bad ass bike all around we drag race it its been stretched and is alot of fun
my dad did the same thing he crashed and build a full carbon panigale 1299 but he got a full system dry clutch, quick shifter everything
My all time favorite bike!
518#s wet in the U.S.
I've been out of biking for 10 years my last bike was a 2009 hayabusa that was heavy . I've just bought a 2002 zx7r and can't wait to get back into it on this absolute icon .
Congrats on the purchase buddy, great choice 👍🏻
It's on my list of bikes I want to collect
What is the windscreen ?
It's a ducati performance screen. (Sorry for the delay)
Really good episode great advert for BG Motorsport
Id love the Zx7r, drive a 99. One since 7 years now... Sadly its engine failed a few days ago with a bit over 88.000km on it... Netherless a dream of a Bike!
Sorry to hear your bad luck mate. It did well to last a few miles though. What's the plan with it?
