Ding Dong, Bell Time...
Today's project takes us to Lady Sprockets fromal garden, to install a cast iron bell. It was a gift from her dad.
It was so hot out, that my camera kept cutting off. Some of the footage was lost, but I believe I captured the most part.

Eliminating the Rattle...thought it was a ball joint
Well I got the deal for $99 with the battery and the charger and get the free tool. I went by this video review and was psyched to buy this because one of my other impacts that I had would not remove my lug nuts. That one that would not work was the Earthquake 1/2 drive cordless impact from HF. Unfortunately it wouldn't even budge not even a hair. I ended up buying the ultra torque and that took them right off no problem. It was just like my Milwaukee. I wanted to buy a more lightweight impact that I could carry in my truck and not worry about it getting stolen and lose over $300.00. I have been toying with the idea of buying one of the value ones from Amazon and see how they work. Maybe a rigid or a Ryobi from the home Depot just to test them to see if they will loosen at 130ft lb lug nut this way here I would have a lighter and cheaper impact wrench in the truck.
@@michaelliberty6517 I really hate that it didn’t work for you. So far, knock on wood, mine hasn’t failed yet. @@yousifhagome7322 I have. I have a 09 Mitsubishi Galant, it’s done everything I’ve needed. Lug nuts on 17 GMC Terrain, 10 F-150, Wrangler, 350 Super Duty. No troubles. F-150 control arm, steering knuckles for 4x4 actuators, no problem. It wouldn’t break the caliper bolts on an 09 Escape. That being said, I had to use a 4’ pipe on a 3/4” drive breaker bar. I believe a shop excessively with yahoo on them. I plan on getting the 1/2” Ultra Torque, soon. I still believe the compact is awesome for its ability, and I’m learning its limitations. I bought an electric percolator and it makes the best coffee. Also bought a non electric camping percolator just in case power goes out. Maybe I'll break out my camping stove and make a pot this weekend. Silly me didn't know my camping percolator would not work on my kitchen stove...this led me to buy electric percolator. Makes the perfect cup of coffee!
I’m scratching my head… why don’t the non-electric work on the cook top? Seems like if it’d heat a skillet, it’d heat a kettle. Thank you so much for stopping by, I look forward to the discussion. Ranger Sprocket
@Project_38 I don't totally understand it. Induction stove will not heat certain cookware. Something about needing a magnetic type of cookware. I was bummed out. I want to do more research on it. Maybe I need a different stove top percolator? Def need to research it.
@@mstanley97 oic, I didn’t know you had induction, that explains everything. Electric or non, they still produce the best Joe around. Ranger
I start my 1 serving percolator before cooking the rest of breakfast. The coffee is ready when it's time to eat. My grandmother had an electric percolator and she ran that thing every morning. There is an entire epistle in the New Testament bout men brewing coffee. It's the book of Hebrews.
Amen! My wife got me on that one. I ask her to go make coffee and she told me it’s the man’s job. When I disagreed, she told me it’s in the Bible. I said, “I’m well rehearsed in the scripture and I’ve never read that”; she opened the Bible and began pointing to the top of the page, Hebrews… I got up and made coffee. Thanks for sharing, Ranger Sprocket
I use a percolator daily for my coffee. Makes thr best tasting coffee.

I can't believe that this is not known, but there you go. It seems average people 100 years ago were infinitely smarter than we are today. I remember the old Maxwell House commercials boobooboobooboop boop boobooboobooboop boop boop.... Our greatest thinkers of today could not percolate a decent cup of coffee. Thank you for preserving history. A splash of cold water will sink any grounds to the bottom of the cup.
Thank you so much, it’s an often occurrence around the fort. It’s slow, but so with it. Ranger Sprocket
It's time for the percolator
Strongly recommend… Ranger Sprocket
must be hit and miss as I can't loosen lug nuts on my car which I hand torques to 129ft/lb just weeks ago - clearly nowwhere the rated 500 ft/pd or the 300 max rating on the site... I'm not alone as other video show hand tightening to 100lb and not able to loosen even with a full 5A battery. maybe I got a lemon.
I appreciate your thoughts and your review. I’ve honestly not had any issues with mine. Perhaps you’ve done this already, but have you put it on level 3 and tried to tighten them a bit, before reversing… just a thought. Thank you for stopping by, Ranger Sprocket
Best of luck on your recovery 🙏

Wouldn't it make more sense to just leave the flip up sights down, so you only spray the front, and the back is good.
I suppose. I’ve always done it this way and we are definitely creatures of habit. Give it a try and let me know how yours turns out. Ranger Sprocket

I'm happy with my Hercules impact driver and 1/2 High Torque impact wrench. Both have the 5a battery. However, this 1/2 compact impact wrench is not very strong. Tried it and returned it the next day when it struggled to take off lugs on some cars. I ended up purchasing the Dewalt DCF891 Mid Torque (800ft/lb) with the 5a Powerstack battery which is as strong as the feedback all around says. If it continues to perform this good, the Hercules High Torque will come out only for certain tasks
I appreciate your decision. At the end of the day, we have to trust the tools in our own shops. Thanks for stopping by. Ranger
Praying for you, Carl!!
@lucindamcmurry4928 Thank you so much. I’m doing good, and feeling better each day. Thank your for stopping by, and we hope to see you and Doc soon. Ranger Sprocket
The Hercules ultra torque is awesome. Outside of that it’s a hit or miss. But most of the time still a better value than the competition.
I’m not familiar with ultra torque. Please elaborate. Ranger
@@Project_38 Hercules makes a 1/2” high torque and a 1/2” ultra torque impact. The ultra torque can’t be beat for the price. To get an impact wrench that has more power you have to pay twice as much and you only get 10% more torque. RUclips channels like shop tool reviews has the Hercules taking off bolts set to 2000 ft lbs. Mr Subaru smashed it with a tractor, dragged it through the dirt and poured water all over and it still did its job. Another good Hercules is the impact driver, the Torque test channel has Hercules rated above Milwaukee, DeWalt and everyone else. The Hercules hammer drill is also a great buy. Unfortunately the mid torque Hercules and 12v line are not as good as the competition. But I invested into the platform because of the ultra torque and impact driver.
@@DustbowlMic thank you for the clarification. I’ll be taking a look at what you described. Ranger Sprocket
Does camouflage paint require primer?
Thanks for stopping by and for your questions. The paint I used had primer in it. Either way, primer is not necessary. After you paint your rifle, or whatever you paint, handling it and rubbing against your gear will cause it to wear off. No worries though, quick touch ups are easy. Ranger Sprocket

Just bought this, very disappointed, won’t even loosen lug nuts on my Honda accord
I had a similar issue at first also. I also found that the lugs were so tight I had to use a 4’ cheater pipe to break them. I do not trust any garage/tire shop to do any wheel work. They always over tighten. We’re still using ours, almost daily without any problems. I hope it get better for ya. Thanks for stopping by, Ranger Sprocket.

$99 for charger and battery w/ "free" tool from a list, this is one. God bless
Thank you for stopping by the channel. Ranger
I checked these out on sale and unfortunately after two medium size batteries and a charger, it was cheaper to get a Ryobi because I already have plenty of Ryobi batteries and chargers.
I have a couple Ryobi tools on the day job. In a commercial setting, we haven’t seen them hold up to the multiple charges per day and the demands “aka abuse” of all day use. We’ll definitely see how the Hercules holds up over time. Thank you for stopping by and the insight you provided. Ranger Sprocket
