    Look at your profile, it points to each other. Thats a mistake that Michelin made. All front tires have the wrong ride direction. And everyone is mounting them wrong. I try to contact Michelin bud no luck. Look and let me know what you think. Every other tire brand dont have this.

    • @PureEvolution
      @PureEvolution Месяц назад

      Hi there i always thought this was mounted the wrong way also, So i looked it up and its got somthing to do with how hydroplaining works from what i understand of it this lets the water get ejected out by force (sucked out almost) with the rotation of the tyre which helps clear water from the contact patch, In a way its so when the water go into the syps and spread into the lardge tread blocks it has no way of filling them up to the point the tyre wants to lift with water Volume. I might be a little off but this is from what i understand of flow dynamics

    • @florisnr11
      @florisnr11 Месяц назад

      Thats correct answer. Bud thats when the tire is mounted good. Michelin drive marker on the tire is wrong on almost all tires. On motorcycles And on cars there are also alot off problems like no drive marker at all. Take a look at a set off Bridgestone tires and hold them beside your bike and look at the profile. Ore any other tire brand.

    • @PureEvolution
      @PureEvolution Месяц назад

      @@florisnr11 The front tyre does different jobs to the rear this is why some companys choose to switch the pattern on the front as it gives better water clearing and support when trying to turn also this is why the parttern is looking like its going the wrong way but this is intentional

I’ve pretty much done the same mods as well, although it does comes pretty well spec’ed as standard. Highly recommend 2 more things (especially for off-road), a set of “Pivotpegz” and more dirt biased tyres. I’m using a set of Shinko 50/50 dual sports which I got for a 5 day ride up and around the Snowy Mountains, great off-road, really good on dry tarmac, average on wet tarmac….and they’re really affordable (much better on dirt than the factory installed Karoos). Most comfortable bike to do long days that I’ve ever owned….love it! 🤟🏼🏍️🇦🇺

I decided to go with the Road 6 tires and holy cow, do they ride SMOOTH!!! Makes my bike 20% better to ride! For me, the dry traction is also a 10 as I ride hard in the canyons every weekend. I’ve honestly no idea how you can get that many miles out of the tyre..I know it’s all about the bike,riding style etc but after having metzler 01 se on my bike (ninja 1000sx) and only getting 3,000 miles out of them when a lot said they would do 8,000 I decided to get Michelin road 6..I’ve got to say there an amazing tyre and I’ve had no issues,I can give it stick on the twisties and never had them let go.i mainly do A road and B road riding but a few motorway miles aswell but I’ve never had a rear last over 5,000 miles and I only got 7,000 out of the front..lasted better than the metzler so I’m sticking with the road 6 but I wish I could get that many miles out of them..just put a new pair on 4 days ago so I’ll see how these go,they better last me the year

    • @PureEvolution
      @PureEvolution 8 месяцев назад

      If I think correct the ninja sx is about 230 ish kg so you might find that your chewing up tyres more as you need the GT versions that are better suited for heavier bikes also you rip.rear tyres up no.matter what if your TCS is off or on very low settings on sum bikes with that kinda power maybe try some next time round and let me know how you go would he very interested in the mileage differance

      Yea i ripped mine up to the wear bar only and didnt help as for a bit of a test i turned TCS off see waht the wear would be like and wow it went fast then turned it back onto 1 and got little more out of tyre so guess its how much power it puts to the wheel at times of load maybe and yea GT version would of been better for that bike

      Same here. Flat middle and now, metal bands showing. 4K miles on my 08 Suzuki Bking, 585lb, 104ft lb torque. I'm guessing my heavy torque bike is too much for these tires.

    I’m curious how much I’d get out of a set of these? I have around 10k miles on my rear tire of s22’s. The OEM s22 barely made it 3k miles and I almost didn’t go with them for replacement but for the price I figured it’s worth a shot. For how much I’m on the highway and doing wheelies. I’m actually shocked at how well they held up. So maybe 15k or more on the road 6?
